Went for a meal with friends last Monday & then got the 2 for 1 pizza takeaway deal tonight. Had pasta first time then pizza. Both meals were fantastic. I hope this place survives as it's good for Stanley. Please go people!!
There last night with my wife Karen my brother Alan and his wife Malinda. Loved everything about the night, the food was fantastic, very good service, smart restaurant and good company. Definitely be visiting again, so many things on the menu I want to try.
Thank you so much to all the staff especially Vicky who made my daughters 6th birthday party very special on Sunday 8th July.
We used the coffee lounge for a pamper party and then moved into the restaurant for the 10 girls to enjoy their meal.
Nothing was a bother for them giving jugs of juice and met any changes needed to the set menu if any of the girls had allergies or certain preferences. One of the party decided she didnāt like her main so Vicky very quickly managed to provide an alternative.
They put the banners up for me and added a few of their own table decorations which took the stress away from me and allowed me to focus on the party in the lounge.
The āicing on the cakeā was when they played happy birthday over the music system when her cake came out making the birthday girl very happy!
Myself and my family are frequent visitors to pazzo and cannot fault the staff or food. I for one am very happy that we have somewhere like this in stanley where you can pop in for a cuppa or go for a 3 course meal.
Popped in tonight fot the first time and took advantage of the pizza tuesday for 4.95.
Had a little wait for my takeaway so had a cold beer and a chat with two lovely young ladies from behind the bar.
pizzas were first class and so was the service.
I definitely recommend and without doubt be coming back.
My son and his classmates went along today and i was really impressed. The staff arranged for us to have the room to ourselves and put a little welcome note up for the kids. They really enjoyed their food and the service was excellent. I would definately recommend this place and will be going back soon.
My friend and i went here a few weeks ago gor lunch and a catch up, and said we would definately be back. We decided to bring our other halfs here last night for a meal and a catch up, the whole place is very nicely decorated, the good was lovely no complaints at all, the service was fab, very pleasant young girls a credit to the restaurant, as is the chef whose food is a credit to him. Will deffo be back ļæ½ļæ½
Just had salmon which was cooked amazing and my partner had steak with chips all I can say is we will be back absolutely amazing food and staff were amazing too xx
Food was great
Service was great
Beer and wine was great. But English Mustard is not served in a squeeze bottle. It's served in a ramikin or similar dish and should be English. Not hot dog mustard.
I'm having to leave trade names out here .because my review keeps getting refused.
First visit today. Didnāt have Sunday lunch even though it looked very nice. Had Mussels in Arrabiata Sauce and Geoff had Garlic Mushrooms absolutely lovely then for main, I had Penne Arrabiate and Geoff had Penne Carbonara, will definitely be going back. Lots of people in beer garden, lovely atmosphere and very pleasant staff.
Amazing food steak cooked exactly how I asked and the customer service from the staff was top notch prices were fair for the quality the food will beback again thatās for sure
Mixed review. Ordered pizza from here and was absolutely beautiful handmade full of flavour. Then came for breakfast this morning, granted it wasnāt very busy but there was 1 member of staff working. The juice and breakfast items were taking forever to be re filled. The sausages were absolutely gorgeous. But there was hardly anything left and by the time they were filled we were about to leave. Toaster took ages too think an industrial toaster needs to be invested in. Donāt think Iāll be back for breakfast but I will certainly be back to get some lovely handmade Italian food
booked a table for tonight which was booked via there webpage which was good and effortless
drinks good plenty of bottled lager or beer
Starter ordered
Mushroom Medley menu states :Combination of wild mushrooms, sautƩed in garlic & thyme. Served on a tomato croute Arrived few mushrooms on bruschetta little bit thyme which was very dry
Main Course
Linguine Carbonara plenty Smoked pancetta couldn't really Taste the garlic, plenty sauce personally parmesan cheese should be served separately as not everyone likes parmesan this should be added at the table the salt and pepper pots should be asked if the customer would like pepper and should be cracked pepper at that
desert
partner ordered lemon strawberry posset was ok couldn't quite taste the lemon and was supposed to be with strawberryās came with 1 covered in chocolate I had whisky coffee liqueur, think they need to learn how to make a proper liqueur you don't mix the milk in the coffee the cream should be layered on top of the coffee but the coffee was still nice very strong with whisky still nice
yes the restaurant was decorated nicely, we had to be moved from conservatory as was too cold music bit loud couldn't hear partner speak would have been better with background music
I've very rarely bothered about reviewing places I've been to, but feel compelled to comment on Pazzo. There were 14 of us in our party and the tables were booked in advance. Everyone arrived at 7pm and after waiting ages to get served drinks proceeded to check the menu and actually we wrote down our food order as nobody came over to ask us what we wanted. It was duly handed over and we then waited, and waited and waited and it was nearly 9pm when before everyone was served. I personally was the last person to receive my order and of course some of the party had finished theirs. The staff couldn't have been more helpful but due to ( in my opinion ) staff issues this was unacceptable. There seemed to be more emphasis on fulfilling the takeaway side of the business than customers sitting inside the restaurant. The food served was very good and we enjoyed what we had but the service was non existent. If this business wants to succeed then management need to address their shortcomings.
A nice enough restaurant quite roomy so werenāt sitting on top of each other like some restraunts. The service was good but overall it just lacked any Italian feel about it. The food was ok just a bit bland and again lacked the Italian seasoning. You normally expect the aroma of garlic and herbs and fresh ground coffee which all adds to the ambiance but overall just seemed a bit flat. All that being said it has great potential.
Went for a meal last night with three friends seated at 6.30 took 10-15 mins to get served with a drink to which the young waitress apologised which which we said was fine. Another 10 mins to order. At 7.45 we enquired to were our meals had got to? As other people had arrived after us and had been served already! The young waitress apologised and went off to check, we noted the manageress and waitress going through tickets for then 5 mins later her to come to our table and say due to flyers going out that day advertising them on just eat they were delayed in orders we stated you forgot us didnāt you, no she said no no thatās not it. She then said it would be a further 20+ mins to receive our meals (4 pasta dishes! manageress seemed at a loss dealing with a problem). She then offered a free drink nice gesture which we accepted , but then she said that our meals would be quicker as doing now. 10 mins later meals arrived which we were all hungry and looking forward to our meals to find out the pasta had no taste and no seasoning and then the chicken to be very pink and under cooked ļæ½ this Iām afraid was the final straw for us. It appears your manageress was out of her depth and lacked customer service skills as she didnāt know what to say or deal with the situation very well the young waitress was at least honest and very apologetic and Iām sorry but appeared more professional. Extremely disappointing as the decor is lovely and had high hopes of the restaurant afraid wonāt be back and wouldnāt recommend.
Really disappointed..... we popped in last night to give the place another chance last time we had Sunday lunch there when it 1st opened so had hoped it would be better..... sadly not food wasn't great, over priced chicken, medium/ rare steak came out blue.. and service was really poor, waited 15 min for the bill to have to go to the bar and request it again, items on the bill we didn't have... such a shame as it could be a really nice venue but think the staff could do with further training, considering there was only 3 other tables of 2 in wasn't really an excuse for such slow service :(
If I could leave no stars I would! A group of 4 of us arrived and sat at our table at 6.30 waited around 15 minutes for our drinks order to be taken with an apology from a very lovely young waitress. Around another 10 to 15 minutes later our food order was taken. By 7 45 we enquired about the missing food which seemed to have been totally forgotten about however other tables around us who arrived later were getting theirs. Manager came and apologised telling us she thought the issue had been down to" just eat" flyers being handed out which had made the kitchen very busy and were promised it would be with us soon and offered a free round of drinks (nice touch and kindly received) Food arrived (4 bowls of chicken pasta) with an apology that they had ran out of chunky chips so had provided free fries (again very kind) however a cheesy garlic bread seemed to have been forgotten but arrived a few minutes later. So we all excitedly tuck in to our flavourless pasta to find the chicken is pink and undercooked!! Final straw to a very disappointing night!
Safe to say we won't be back!
Had a booking in place for a 65th birthday for 7 people and the restaurant cancelled us going the night before because they had a large party wanting to book in, we were left having to find a new venue with less than 24hrs notice for 7 people. We live local and have been to the restaurant on many occasions, donāt think we ll be going again though after being treat like that!
