Rutland Camping (Permanently Closed)

Rutland Camping was quite a relief after we were let down by another camp site. It was quite late already, but when we knocked on the little house behind the reception a nice young lady had a idyllic pitch for us on the meadow in the back (with electricity)! The sanitary is basic but clean and the price/quality of the camp site is perfect.

My wife and I have just bought our first caravan and this was our inaugural trip. The site is very quiet, well maintained with a number of hardstandings c/w power and water. Toilet block was tidy and clean. Weather wasn't too brilliant during our stay, but the local pub was very hospitable (closed on Sunday).
