Rutland Watersports

Visited here as a halfway break in our journey. The lake and surrounding areas are beautiful, there is a pleasure boat operating on the lake. The cafe offers inside and outside seating, and the food choice is quite good.

Amazing place to go cycling,walking or just sit and relax. Annoying things is parking charges considering not to bad but still fairly expensive. And bicycle hire wow that's overpriced as hell.
The rest is fairly good, clean site, beautiful nature, you can choose from fly-fishing, predatory fishing. Kayaking, well planty of water sport's there. Also depending on the side of a lake you choose there is few birds watch areas. Highly recommend to come visit in autumn when tree leaves are coloured amazing views guaranteed.

We love the stand-up paddle boarding here! We have also been canoeing! The stand up paddle boarding is great, so much for especially for the children.

Superb place to windsurf given the size of Rutland Water. Those who have their own boards can launch from the club's launch point.

We hired two kayaks for an hour and it was lots of fun. We had a single and a three man kayak. Single for hubby and I had the kids that didn't have a clue but learned quickly. I would highly recommend hiring from Rutland Watersports. Good service.

Had a fab time at the Aqua park at Rutland water. My sons birthday family & friends enjoyed having fun messing around & just having a laugh. Great experience recommend it!

Really unexpectedly lovely location. Only thing is, there's dog fouling over the place. I only wish people would respect and take pride in beautiful surroundings. Well worth a visit though.

Great fun in the water, Well organised for wet suits and life jackets etc. Major downside are the terrible shower and changing facilities. Given they have just been refurbished I can't imagine what they were like before. Showers didn't really work.

The actual activity is great fun and really well put together.

It's good but check seasonal times before going.

We stayed here earlier in the year as part of a UKWA event. Lovely place rutland. Great to cycle around the lake and there is a great coffee shop nearby.

Great facilities for all kinds of watersports in a beautiful setting.
