Ruukki Construction serves customers in the construction business. We deliver products and services ranging from design to installation to promote the business of our corporate customers, who include investors and construction companies. Consumer customers are roofers, who we serve with roofing products and installation services under the Plannja and Ruukki brands. In addition to retail outlets, we serve roofers via Ruukki Express stores and Plannja service points across 9 countries. Ruukki Construction has around 3, 500 employees and production in 16 plants in Europe. Comparable net sales in 2013 were €860 million.
Ruukki Construction is a division of SSAB. SSAB is a Nordic and US-based steel company operating in over 50 countries. The Company share is quoted on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm and Helsinki. www. ssab.com

At the beginning of January, Ruukki UK announced a new service model in the United Kingdom. This change means that we will now serve our UK customers from our sales offices outside the UK. Our Solihull office will close later in the year.
Despite this change this will does not affect our ability to serve our customers in UK in any way and we will continue to offer the same level of response and service as we have always done.

Boeing’s new £40m high-tech production facility is currently being constructed in Sheffield at the first European factory for the world's largest aerospace manufacturers.
