About Rwa Drawing School

The RWA Drawing School aims to nurture the art of drawing, not only as an art form in its own right, but as an essential part of the creative process.

Rwa Drawing School Description

The Bristol Drawing School was started by Graham Woodruff and Carol Peace as a not for profit partnership in November 2007 with the aim of celebrating the importance and diversity of drawing.

From the beginning we have offered a diverse range of activities, including courses, workshops, exhibitions and artist talks. Recently we have extended the programme to include more non-drawing art forms such as painting and sculpture but still have drawing as our core activity

We currently have around thirty tutors and artists who are involved in classes and exhibitions and are able to run workshops throughout days, evening and weekends.

The Royal West of England Academy (RWA)

In September 2011 the Bristol Drawing School moved to the RWA, this exciting move is enabling the school to expand it's program using the space that the academy provides.
