SCF wants to work with local people to address a lack of services or develop ideas for community projects.

Coast and Vale Community Action are the facilitators of the Big Lottery Funded "Totally Socially" Project. Totally Socially looks to act as a catalyst for the support, development and empowerment of individuals from within the communities of Scarborough Borough, Ryedale District & its environs. This broad forum page is mother to more geographical specific Totally Socially forum groups that work at grass roots level to create a network of individuals that will work towards their own goals and aspirations in trying to create community projects and thus avoid the need for serving an agenda set out by local authority or other type of organisation. We want to help people achieve the changes they want to see for themselves through by offering free, no strings, support and guidance as well as potential leadership training and workshops.
