I know I put it somewhere!
Make a note in your diary for Carl Rosner and the Triumph Roadshow Truck, July 14th.
Clean MyRide bike wash is now available at Ryka’s Cafe, look good this summer on a shiny clean bike.
Clean MyRide will be at Ryka’s this Saturday with probably the best bike wash out there, so if you need to top up your stock or want to know how good it is, just call in.
Paul will have his display in the car park, he’ll give you a demo!!
Photos by Jason Smith taken on Sunday, another busy day in the sunshine. Cheers Jason.
The Cafe is open as usual from Saturday 23rd, work not finished yet but you can come in out of the cold!!
Ryka’s “shack” is open for business whist the floor works continue, NO seating inside #fresh air !!
First day of the floor replacement has revealed the original 80s flooring, how many of you remember this?

These bikes were stolen from a guy in Swansea last night.
Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club are back for the 11th year, bikes over 15 years old qualify. Always great to see so many privately owned Classic Japanese Motorcycles all together, don’t miss out! https://www.vjmc.com/
From 1979, some will remember those days very well.

Busy first Sunday of 2019! All captured in these photos by Jason Smith, cheers!
We have a good ride over from Reading. Been a couple of time now and it's a great place, sit and relax watching bikes coming in and leaving. Good place to people watch. Burger and fries with a coffee are just the ticket and you don't have to wait too long for them, they call tour number out over the rabbit.
When you done it a nice ride to the top of the hill (careful of the hairpin bends) to take in some stunning views.
We call in for breakfast when we have walked the dog over Box Hill. Good sausage and bacon bap and good cuppa tea and love to watch all the bikers.
Twice I have been and twice I have enjoyed the experience. Fair prices but one of my mates was not impressed 25p for a satchet of ketchup, think he is taking his own bottle next time.
Ryka's is a great place with excellently-priced food, esp, chips. I was sad to hear that their car-park might be used as a marshalling point for the HGVs etc before they travel up Leith Hill for the possible oil-drilling up there. Come on Ryka's - don't let them in!
Nice place to stop for a meeting with friends great atmosphere very friendly with lots of interesting motorcycles if you like bikes this is the place
Lovely breakfast with extra fried bread and black pudding with a strong mug of tea
Great service from the staff very clean and welcoming
I used to live near by and go to boxhill every weekend. I now live In Suffolk and it's well worth the long ride. It's still the same great food and relaxed, friendly atmosphere and loads of bikes. Brilliant
I have been using Ryka's since the early 70's when the food was served from caravans on the edge of the car park. your food was served in baking foil with a serviette inside which was part of the deal! since then of course the café was built and you don't get your burger in foil anymore shame that! but the café has always been consistent and enjoyable with the shakes being extremely tasty. there was a picture in the café by the door of the old caravans and one of the many people standing in front by his Honda cd175 is me! sadly that picture has gone but the café remains. i see some people have complained about the food well this is a road side café and they serve a awful lot of food and it is hard to smile all the time when you get some customers who are never satisfied no matter what you do and what do you expect lobster and caviar its a café my friend enjoy the food and the bikes and the wonderful ambience of Box Hill.
First time using the cafe and had a take away coffee while travelling to Buckinghamshire. Would have called again on the way back if I had’nt any delays on M25.
Fantastic staff, great facilities and amazing food.
We will be back next Sunday 🏍🏍🏍
Clearly the best bikers meeting place in the south east, if not the uk, certainly the best known, happy staff always going the extra mile to make your visit memorable, looking forward to that web cam being installed!!
Been a customer at Rykas for over 30yrs, can't fault the place at all... clean, nice staff, good food, stunning location and generally very busy with lots of beautiful machines to admire if you're into anything bike related.
Beautiful place lovely food lovely area beautiful scenery ..... other than that go there !!!
As a Dorking resident and classic car owner this is a place I really appreciate for the whole set up, ambience, location and food. I am shocked to hear that they might be forced by Surrey County Council in the coming months to give over parking to HGV's to facilitate the unwanted oil drilling and despoilation on Leith Hill. These will be 32 tonne plus trucks carrying oversized loads, toxic chemicals and radioactive substances used in the well drilling as recently seen at nearby Brockham. I hope the owners can prevent this so that we can enjoy business as usual at Ryka's!
Great location, but very busy in the summer, with long queues for food & drinks.
Ok for tea & coffee, burgers not good, in the summer the que is out the door, if you only want a tea you have to wait in the same que as everyone ordering food which takes a lifetime.. my advice have a separate Que for drinks only I've heard many people moan about this.. come on rykas sort it out, ( summer only)..
I wish they still stayed open until late into the evening as it did in the 90's it was a great ride out, 19.30 is the latest closing time now and it's way too early.
Used to be such a great place totally disappointed popped down there with a few friends the food was about average if the staff cracked a smile their face would break 2 rashers of cremated bacon in a bacon roll and toilets so disgusting I’d rather go in a carrier bag in the bush and take it home the only saving grace was the milkshakes oh no that was newlands
Sorry to say but it was the worse burger I have ever had. It was tastless, no in fact it tasted like the cheapest meat had been used then boiled. As for the cheese, that was more or less non-existent. Never again.
