As a child, my favourites were my Mama’s apple crumble with custard but equally my Nana’s bread and butter pudding. I can almost taste them while writing this...😋.

My daughters (10 & 3) absolutely love cooking and baking together, especially if it involves fruits or homemade flapjacks and 🍰. . . . Yesterday they whipped up two batches of flapjacks.l, one with raisins.... . . . As you can see they were eager to try them before I could even take a quick snap 📷. . . . Next time I’ll be reducing the sugar content as we used golden syrup oats and not plain. . . . By the end of the evening I had two happy 😊 mini cooks. They even helped to prepare the 🥔 for our jacket potato 🥔 dinner. . . . Whilst enjoying this fun activity, they also used science, maths and literacy skills which is an added bonus.
