Wonderful meal last night before Emily Sande concert. Meal authentic tasting of the ones eaten in India, service excellent, friendly and swift

With great food and polite and attentive service , a visit to Sachins is always an enjoyable occasion .

Went here for birthday meal. The food was amazing, the staff were extremely attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

We were fortunate to be invited by Smooth Radio to this wonderful restaurant tonight and were really impressed. The food was amazing, really tasty and beautifully presented. I will be definitely coming back and would totally recommend a visit.

We had the set menu for £55, was amazing quality and more than enough food.

Prawns and chicken starter were to die for, both main dishes were tasty and again very well cooked chicken. Nan breads were nice and thin. Staff were very friendly and an overall brilliant experience. Will defo be back again �

We had the banquet for 4 last Saturday, I have to say it was the best Indian meal I have ever had. It was delicious and the service was excellent

Visited Sachins recently and was impressed with the environment, service and most importantly the food. This has to be in the top 3 Indian restaurants in Newcastle. Asked for the food to be spicy, being a Indian Punjabi, and they did not disappoint. Will definitely visit again very soon and not leave it 25 year plus like the last time.

Visited Sachins last night,after seeing Micky Flanagan at The Metro Arena,with my sister Kirsty.Haven't been 'Out,Out' in Newcastle for a long time,so didn't really know where to go for food. We knew we fancied Indian food,& luckily found Sachins,Kirsty had been before,but didn't think we would get a table. Fortunately for us we did. Scrumptious food,fabulous staff-thanks for a brilliant end to an amazing night �

The menu listing the allergens is fantastic, the food is fantastic, the staff are fantastic, the owner is fantastic, the flattery is fantastic, the price of wine is fantastic and the way they deal with ostentatious vehicle owners who take up the entire car park is fantastic. I think that covers it

Superb food and nice attention to detail from the staff. We were in early as we were on our way to the Arena, and staff asked if that was where we were going, so the food arrived quickly. Definitely going back. Thanks everyone.

Just about the best Indian food I have ever eaten. An upmarket eatery with unusual dishes that are full of flavour and served by exceptionally pleasant staff. I just love this place !!

It’s been a long time since we were at sachins but last week we visited for our ten year wedding anniversary meal - the welcome was like we’d never been away and the food was fabulous - as it always has been. Big love to Bob and the Sachins team, we won’t leave it so long next time �

It is the best Indian Restaurant in the North East , maybe the best in the UK!

I haven't been here for 9 years (shame on me!) went last night and it was just as amazing as I remember! Having the left overs for lunch today

Haven't been able to get to this fab restaurant as often as we used to but went for my birthday last week and the food was better than ever if that's possible. Enjoyed every minute. Most staff new to us other than Sultan but same friendly welcome as ever. Fab night. Thank you

Great food & service as usual. Chose the banquet for 2 as it was completely different to what we'd usually choose. We weren't disappointed. Lovely starters & curries. A consistently good restaurant...Bob's smile is a treat too!

Food was top class. It was very busy and when I asked one off the waiter what was one off the condiments was he made a funny face and said I don't no just as well I have a good sense of humour wee got moved tables and then wee had to wait about 1 hour for our main course. But worth the wait and I will defo be back for more great food.

Food was outstanding and the waiters are very happy and friendly. Will definitely be returning!! Would recommend the Lamb Kofta! �It was delicious!

Best by far Curry I have had. Staff are very friendly, no waiting around between courses, food out of this world and never rushed to leave. Very good value for money for the quality and quantity of food served .

Been going for years lovely staff lovely food. Bob the manager asked this how my father in law is doing as when we was last in we mentioned he was poorly. Just to say thank you and for your kind words and luck for him on Thursday. Highly recommended. Your treated with respect and treated so special. Decor is looking good will see a change when we back good look and thank you to all staff �� highly recommend.

sachins tandoori smelled like lighter fluid.



the main course of chicken karahi and chicken makhni had a slight "parafin/lighter fluid" taste, but was masked by the sauce.



overall ive had better for a fraction of the price.

Have being going to Sachins for years even if only once or twice a year. Always had good service and excellent food. Was really looking forward to our visit the other night.

However found the starters to be average, I got served the wrong main course and when the right one came, the fish was virtually raw. We had lots of apologies and I know mistakes happen. Our bill still came to £60 for the 2 of us. We'll go back but it’ll be a while
