Went to see Flamencura yesterday and was blown away! Amazing performances by surely some of the greatest facets in the world. Angel Munoz must be up there with the best of all time. And thank you Paco Pena for another great performance and show ❤️❤️Ole!!

User

Went many years ago, went by this morning it as changed, will be coming soon to watch a performance that as caught my Eye.

User

We saw Flamencura. It was very impressive: a fairly minimalist show with only a few performers on stage most of the time, but all really good. Paco Peña himself is an absolute virtuoso. There were some fusion elements, notably an American jazz singer who appeared in a couple of numbers. Highly recommended.

User

We arrived early for the Flamenco to try out the cafe and food. It did not disappoint. Delicious fish pie followed by yummy carrot cake. The theatre was lovely and cool - sometimes these places can be so hot. No complaints from us. We had a lovely evening and will be returning for the Cuba event.

User

Watched Tanguera - A love story in Buenos Aires. Excellent show, I haven't seen it before although I had grrat reviews and comments and after watching them I cannot agree more. They are fantastic, truly a great show from Buenos Aires. I would watch it again .

Sadler Wells is a great theatre, very comfortable and great views, tall people in front of you won't bother you at all.

User

This production is one of the best! I’m here 5-6 times a month! Mesmerising!

User

Tanguera - What an emotional rollercoaster! This is not just "A tango show". It is a peek into the historical context of Tango. Immigrants, love, passion, gangs, brothels, sex, murder, brotherhood, sisterhood and family ... all rolled into a musical storyline, packed into 1.5 hrs. A live band provide spectacular seamless music, scenes that merge with matching change of props in seconds. The dancers come alive to tell their story. The music is powerful and stirs emotions ... this is tango!

User

My first time yesterday! But unlike any other first time, it was sublime! I sat in my office today still riveted by the dancing, movement, music and beauty. I will never simply walk pass anymore. Now I will see what's on and what shows I may fancy. Congratulations!

User

Love Chapter 2 : pure beauty and emotion. Constant changes and surprises in choreography to keep you tuned and amazed by the talent and hard work of the fantastic team of dancers. Highly recommended.

User

I’ve been at Sadler’s Wells more often than I can count, and not once have I been disappointed with the quality of dance they have on stage. Diverse and world-class.

User

I was very good impressive in my first visit enjoying ''Carmen La Cubana''

sure I will be back to see other show.

User

Experienced a great evening at this venue where it was the first night of Flamencura featuring Paco Peña Dance Company. They were superb! My first visit here and I will return at some point in the future. A beautiful modern building. Staff were very polite. A big thumbs up from me. 👍😊

User

Beyond all expectations- loved it!!!

User

Absolutely fantastic Cuban Carmen.

Utterly Cuban! I have just come back from Havana and it felt like I was back there! So much talent in that beautiful Island.

User

We went to see Tanguera, as we both love the Argentine Tango. The show was good, with an ok story, a bit repetitive but good entertainment. The Encore was the best bit, just great dancing which was what I expected. The lady playing the lead wasn't as good as a couple of other dancers, no snappiness in her movements, especially her legs. However we enjoyed the show and would recommend it to people.

User

Saw Cinderella this afternoon and was not disappointed. Great staging and quite an interesting spin on a great classic - but, for me, the star of the show was the male dancer in the role of 'The Angel'. Stunning dancer - captivating and commanding..."entrancing"; "spell-binding"!

User

Had a nice time last night. But ushers flashing torches at people who took photos was even more annoying than people taking photos. Being sat on end of isle right next to usher wasn’t nice.

User

Shame on you Sadlers Wells...

My mother has been a supporter of Sadler's Wells for many years and we have both been many times. As my mum is getting on a bit, and has less disposable income, I was shocked to discover that concession tickets are only available 1 hour before the performance starts (not a realistic proposition if you have mobility issues and live on the other side of London). The only advanced tickets you can buy are the worst seats in the house (narrow, inaccessible and the furthest from the stage). They will sell you these for an insulting £4 less than the full price. When I spoke to an arrogant representative from the theatre they made no apologies, I was told I was lucky to be able to buy advanced tickets at all! How sad that someone who has so avidly supported Sadler's Wells all their life is now discriminated against so openly.

User

Sadlers wells - you are a disgrace. it is now almost 24 hours since you sat us down in the auditorium and announced there would be no show and we could now leave. It does not matter that this is the first time in 16 years or that we will all be refunded. That holds little compensation for how you dealt with the issue. You have made no attempt to apologise publicly on this page to the many hundreds of people who came to see the show, most of whom, like myself would have spent a fortune on travel and hotels to enjoy a long awaiting and very special evening. The most outrageous part about this whole saga is that the issue with the power had been occurring, as you say, all day and yet you opened your doors, allowing everyone to come in spend huge amounts of money in your bar AND even selling programmes when you knew without any shadow of a doubt that this performance would not take place. Even if the power miraculously came back on, it could very easily have gone off again half way through the performance so the right thing to do would have been to turn away all at the doors with a printed explanation and apology. You have behaved unacceptably. Sadlers wells - You should be ashamed.
