About Safer Erewash

Part of Erewash Borough Council, the Erewash Community Safety Partnership work to reduce crime, disorder, re-offending and the public perception of these.
Working together to improve neighbourhoods and make Erewash even safer.

Safer Erewash Description

The Erewash Community Safety Partnership is the local Community Safety Partnership (CSP) for the Erewash borough. It is a statutory Partnership that was formed as part of the Crime and Disorder Act in 1998.

In Erewash the organisations that have a statutory duty to be part of the CSP are:
• Erewash Borough Council
• Derbyshire Constabulary
• Derbyshire County Council
• Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service
• Derbyshire Probation Trust
• Erewash Clinical Commissioning Group.

The partnership also works with other organisations and groups that can assist in delivering local priorities. These include, but are not limited to voluntary, community and social enterprise groups, housing associations, local businesses and residents.
