On Sunday 9th November 2014 we were announced winners of the 9th annual BCA Awards during a ceremony held at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London. The evening was hosted by TV presenter Tasmin Lucia-Khan and Masterchef's Gregg Wallace.

Well let's put it this way... I hate it if I have to go anywhere else for a curry! Saffron is hands down the best curry house in Hemel 😍 The food is AMAZING! And the staff are lovely and very helpful, they will help you with anything you require!

The meal deal was excellent value, the food and service was great and the manager (I think) advised on the menu and organized vegan food for me.

Very impressed and would recommend.

The food and atmosphere was really good. Very impressed with the flavours.



Only issue is the tables are small and have too many chairs. We were sat a table for 6 which should have been for 4. Bumped elbows a few times

Scrummy food with flavour and super awesome service . . . Even with air conditioning on making the room somewhat chilly. However for a Wednesday evening the restaurant was nearly full which says a lot about the food there �

My daughter and her boyfriend treated me to dinner on the 23/06/16. Well, where do I begin. From the moment we stepped through the door to paying the bill, it was a lovely experience through out. Staff, restaurant and especially the food was exceptional. What a wonderful evening. We be coming back again very shortly. Thank you.

Love this place!!! Made us all feel very welcome, was our daughters first time in a curry house and they made her feel very grown up!! (She is 5) absolutely go there again and again!!!

I proposed to my wife in here 7 years ago and to this day we love coming here. Staff are great, food is lovely and they never try to rush you. Just a perfect place.

Always like to try different dishes - which were great. The staff are always courteous, friendly and attentive. The Sunday to Thursday deal gives you so much food that in fact we declined some of the dishes. Thank you to Ali & all his staff �

My family and I go there often and really enjoy the food. Never disappointed great value for money customer service could have improve a bit more.

Having being my favourite indian restaurant, after tonight I probably would never go back again. Night out with colleagues, took over an hour to take our order. When the starter arrived, my friend who never complains was heart broken to have a meat samosa given to.her after ordering a veggie samosa. When complaining the waiters were so apologetic, but the owner was so rude and disrespectful, and turned his back on us. So we will not be going back again. Its not the first time its happened. Its no way to run a business.

Great value for money so much good couldn't eat it all .

Having been there twice this year, unfortunately I’m going to have to say, once again I didn’t enjoy the food.



I was last there in March, and for what ever reasons, the food was not as nice as all the previous visits over the many years I’ve been going to the Safron.



I decided to give it another go, hoping that the March visit was a one of, but once again, I come away disappointed with the food.



However, I will say, the staff are amazing, very friendly, and can’t do enough for you.

We are regulars, but unfortunately we were disappointed on NYE. One starter, main meal & side dish were all incorrect. These issues were quickly rectified. However, Sunday is a banquet night as advertised on the internet and the board outside the restaurant, but we were charged full price. I did question this and pointed out that there was the board outside, “oh” was the response...

been a few times this year & got to say this was the worst ever, food wasn’t all that & the staff didn’t really care, poor service

Thoroughly disappointed with the disgusting customer service my friends received tonight. After visiting this restaurant on many occasions prior to today I will not be rushing back in a hurry. After waiting over half an hour to give our drinks order and a further 20 minutes to order food, my vegetarian friend was then served meat samosas after clearly ordering vegetable ones!! Not realising this until she took a bite, my friend was understandably quite upset by this. The manager however was incredibly rude and turned his back on us when we complained. His tone and mannerisms were incredibly rude bordering aggressive. I have to say the other waiters could not apologise enough but their boss was clearly not worried about customer satisfaction tonight.
