While stuck in Hoddesdon because of a van breakdown we looked for somewhere too eat , we found this lovely restaurant. Very polite and pleasant staff, amazing food best we have ever had!!! We would travel 4 hours from where we live to eat here again. Amazing job guys keep up the good work and hopefully get to see you again soon x

Friendly staff gave us advice on the food and didn't rush us. Food was excellent. Me and hubby tried new dishes and we were not disappointed.

Came with my Nanna and Baby Sister and just loved the place. food was lovely and the service was excellent. They were so nice and they gave all of us a rose a real rose not a fake one

I’ve been eating in this establishment for over 25 years (also when it was previously Raj Gate - under different management). I go back time and time again as no other local Indian restaurants tasted as good.



However, the last couple of takeaways have been really disappointing and I’m reluctantly starting to think about going elsewhere.



The chicken in the dishes (particularly CTM dish) has been quite dry but the main issue is portion size has dropped dramatically recently. The mushroom Bhaji barely covered the bottom of the small foil tray and the amount of chicken in the dishes has dropped by a third (I count out chunks when serving up for my children).



I love this place but struggling to convince myself to stick with it at the moment.

I tried the chicken and chips because I don't get on with hot spices or yoghurt. The chicken was really uncomfortable to eat, it was too dry but the dairy free mild curry sauce I was given made it easier.
