Saffron Walden Golf Club Description
Saffron Walden Golf Club is home to one of the finest parkland golf courses in the whole of East Anglia. Set in the picturesque surroundings of Audley End's famous mansion, the Club also boasts superb views over the historic market town of Saffron Walden.
The Golf Club's Professional, Rob McNicholas, and his friendly team provide a full range of golf tuition, golf clubs and accessories to members and visitors.
The shop is open 7 days per week from 7. 30am to 7. 00pm in the summer and from 8. 00am to dusk in the winter.
The shop is extremely well stocked with all the top brand names and the staff will be delighted to help you with any of your golf purchases.
To ensure that his customers get the best value for their money Rob is a member of a consortium of 200 golf professionals that act collectively to buy from the major manufacturers.

I have forgotten what a lovely backdrop the course has , set against Audley End estate and country house, plus the quaint market town of Saffron Walden. All in all a great day, and will certainly be back next year with our golf society.. if not sooner

Always in tip top condition thanks to the hard work of the green staff. Pro shop has excellent knowledge of equipment and always happy to help.
Fabulous weather for their Mixed Open with fantastic views of the church and Audley End. An amazing mixture of well established trees lining the fairways and well maintained bunkers. Halfway house is a delight and the bar and catering staff very accommodating for dietary needs.
