The service was good albeit a bit slow. I ordered the expresso with chocolate, it was amazing. It was in a cocktail style glass covered in dark chocolate and expresso in the middle.

User

The service is painfully slow but completely worthwhile as their Hot Chocolate is OUTSTANDING! I'd go as far to say best in London and can see what all the fuss is for as it's an epic, indulgent treat!

User

The best dark&milk hot chocolate in town. Staff were very friendly & helpful. It was full but the staff only kept us waiting out for 5 mins. Very efficient . We left the place with high satisfaction

Great hot chocolate and super yummy pasta and friendly staff. I had a wonderful evening and will be back!

As someone who is chocolate obsessed, it shouldn't be taken lightly when I say this is my chocolate Mecca. I LOVE chocolate, I take classes in chocolate making, I visit factories, cacao farms and chocolate festivals around the world. I am a chocolate snob. SAID not only makes a chocolate drink I love, their chocolate bars are top of the line. This company really knows what they're doing when it comes to chocolate.

Amazing italian chocolate place. I will back soon. Super friendly staff and delicious desserts!!!

User

Fabulous food and ambiance, lovely to see the craft and artisan skills in the cakes. Staff could have been more attentive but wonderful experience and recommend a visit.

Really disappointing experience here the other weekend. My friend had told me I had to try the hot chocolate so we went here after some shopping. We both got the hazelnut hot chocolate. I thought £4 was pretty steep for such a small cup and it wasn't quite as amazing as I'd hoped but it was tasty thick creamy pure chocolate and I struggled to manage more than half. What my issue with this place was, was that the waitress asked if we wanted chocolate drizzle. We thought what a nice option and said sure! Sadly when we came to pay our bill it turned out they charged extra for the drizzle and one cup was charged at £6.30. I nearly fainted. When we complained to who I presume was the manager, that we should be informed that the drizzle is extra, he made excuses, said it says on the menu (yes on the reverse under the cakes... we didn't order cakes) and then said that their job is to sell. So basically their job is to con people into paying extra for a bit of chocolate drizzle which we noticed many customers just left on their cups and didn't even eat probably unaware of the fact they were about to be charged for it! Sad to say his attitude means I will never return nor recommend this place. I cannot stand places that do not accept some responsibility and admit to trying to make money out of their customers. RUDE.

More cattle ranch than coffee shop complete with rope on the door to separate the herd. Was told to wait 1 hour for my tsble for 5 kids and myself. After arriving was told to wait 10 more mutes on the street anc was given 2 separate tables. Chocolate was stale and stored in the open so it took all all the flavours of the shop. It was handled with the servers bare hands no gloves. The so called chocolate pizza is a dry stake thin foccacia sandwich NOT A PIZZA! !! Very expensive price's for a small cramped cafe. no room for wheel chair or push chair. Dirty wet outdoor victorian toilets. None of the telephone numbers work so their advice to call for advanced booking is a wastep of time. I wish management would reply to this I'm so unhappy bug did not want to return my orders and complain for the kids to be upset as we travelled really far and have come to the UK on holiday.

worst place in London to go, the worst ! mark the words you r treated like prisoners by highly unprofessional and uneducated staff who cant speak a word of any language in the world or able to do simple maths. they asked us to wait for 15 minutes and after 40 minutes said we cant accommodate you because we prefer more customers to be seated first so that we can fetch more money, there was a highly uncivilized, hostile old south asian manager with glasses and severe Alzheimers couldn't remember a thing it pissed us friends so much it could've resulted in a serious fist fight

hot chocolate my foot its a manhole of hot heads. avoid going at all cost you can enjoy and relax anywhere in the world but this place

its a RED WARNING!

Visited last night and the experience beginning to end was diabolical! I made a reservation at 6.40, was running 5 minutes late and called up to inform them of this. The manager told me he gave my table away as my booking was for 6.30 which was not the case. He even told me he called my mobile to see if i was attending and as I didn't respond he assumed I wasn't going to turn up. When i got there I informed him that i didn't get a call and he denied saying this. Once we were seated we were greeted by someone who had limited capability of understanding anything we were saying and kept typing in our order wrong. We asked for the food to arrive together but yet he gave one dish first and the others 10mins later. The first thing he gave was a dry waffle covered in milk chocolate. I asked him if he could take it back and add all three chocolate drizzle on top liked we asked. Few minutes later his colleague ( female, white/blonde hair) arrived with the item and it only had more milk chocolate drizzled on it. I asked her if she can verify if this is just milk chocolate on the waffle as opposed to milk and dark. Her response was ' it is chocolate, can't you see'.... then i told her that we asked for all three. She took the item back and all

Members of staff decided to bitch about this behind the counter whilst looking over. If the food was up to scratch it would make up for horrendous service but unfortunately if you are looking for over priced, dry cake served in a dingy cafe with a customer service level of -100 then go to this place. It is literally the worst place I have ever visited. There are better places in London so DO NOT waste your time coming here.... if management read this, please review your staff. The fact that your manager can speak English and doesn't give a shit about customer service says it all!

User

No prices on anything, I just wanted to buy a little gift and your staff were very slow in telling me. I think English is a problem, I bought a hazelnut spread for £10.00 in the end, and it looks good. But for these prices, please improve your customer service, and language skills

User

I went yesterday with my daughters as it was my birthday. We ordered a brownie and a chocolate milk shake. The brownie was dry and I was charged extra for a drizzle of chocolate on it. The milk shake was disgusting can’t tell you what it tasted like certainly not like a chocolate milk shake. I will not be returning there and I wouldn’t recommend it to any friends.

User

I was planning to go for a hot chocolate on a snowy night at 10pm hoping to get quality hot chocolate for my wife and mother-in-law.. due to the fact the the shop was full the waiter did not pay attention when we told them we were dining in for 3 pax.. when they realize they had no place to seat us, instead of politely asking us to wait or informing us.. they chase us away like beggers and acted like we were second class citizens by telling us there is no place and turning their heads around and left us unattended, even though we were a legitimate walk-in customer, willing to contributing to their business revenue.. they even gave us the "do you know what time we close?" bitch question.. eh hello man, please act like civilized people.. Please don't run a business if u can't treat all your customers with equal treatment.. the business do not deserve a 4.6 star.. it deserves a 0 star for service.. Customers who are thinking of coming here, beware of getting abused by the waiters..

User

I don't understand what is all the hype about for extremely dry desserts. The brownie was dry, the waffle seemed stale, the pizza bread was extremely disgusting and dry and The worst part was that it has big chunks of salt in it. I couldn't believe how overpriced that disgusting dry pizza slice was. The only good thing was the hot chocolate. I am extremely disappointed.

User

I bought two pieces of chocolate. Two or three waiters ignored me for about 5 minutes, seemed very frustrated to be there and finally when I got my items it was in a very thick plastic bag. This is horrendous for the environment !

There were also flies on the chocolate I saw after my purchase. Boycott.

User

Horrible service !

went to Said dal today and was told there was a waiting. i told my name to the manager who was taking the names of the people on the waiting list and he entered it on his ipad. he said the waiting would be 15-20 minutes. after 5 minutes he comes out or the shop asking around 15 who is on the list? he didnt even remember and he commented that i deal with 300 people each day i cannot remember everyone.

i was second on the list with my husband, there was a group of 4 before me, a group of 3 and 4 after me. i was supposed to be seated second according to the list ! BUT.... he told me that he has three tables all for the bigger groups and he cannot accommodate me and he was talking to me in an extremely rude and accusatory tone that i have to seat everybody and that you have to wait.

I left the place and trust me I will not go there again and i will not recommend anyone else to go as well. its highly unorganized and unprofessional.

User

Dry cake and my vanilla milkshake tasted like a glass of semi skimmed milk - no taste at all. Place was cool though very crowded and the staff didn't really seem to know what was happening. We asked for the bill and it never came. Had to go up to the counter where we waited and waited before finally getting the attention of a staff member before paying and leaving.
