6 of us booked dinner for Xmas day 2017 because in 2016 Xmas dinner was fantastic. Fast forward to 2017, the dinner was terrible, the vegetable were more than aldente, they were more like raw frozen veg, The starters were ok , dessert was... so so depended on what you actually ordered it was as if it had been microwaved for hours . We complained and received a voucher towards. a future meal and a bottle of wine, we then waited and waited for the 4th course to arrive, coffee and mince pies, after 10 mins we gave up and walked out, a totally spoilt day that was very expensive, I personally had 2 very thin small pieces of turkey and a Yorkshire pudding for my dinner and went home hungry, thanks Sailmakers for spoiling a family Xmas meal.

I shall be calling to speak to the manager and asking for a refund on the 4the course none of us got

We have used this restaurant on a regular basis since it opened, yesterday was the last time.

Been before and the food was lovely. However been again and the food was not to good standard. That said the staff was friendly and kind and did everything they could to resolve the matter

Went to visit as our friends have been quite a few times and recommended. Food and drinks was good and staff efficient and courteous. Will be going again. Recommended.

Popped in for a quick bit to eat. And it was quick, asked for crunchy chicken sandwich with Mayo, basic bread ,was not offered any different breads , brown ,wrap, bread cake. Asked for a serving of chips they should have come separate but they were on the plate with one of the sandwiches. They were to share not enough for one person let alone two. There was a poor salad garnish on both plates which was so wilted was not worth eating one little cherry tomato in half. Asked for tea got a cup not a pot and that was not even full. Person behind bar not happy or forth coming. Certainly no service with a smile here. Place is untidy and will not be popping there again in a hurry.

We called in for a drink and got a couple of desserts and a bowl of nachos. When the food arrived there was a dessert missing. When I asked a member of staff where it was she said the kitchen is confused and it will be on the way soon. Not sure how that simple order confused them but there you go.

nice pub that is online and few metres from river so you have a great view of this tidal river

usual pub grub served in nice surrounding

Fast service and good food, a surprising and welcome change from our previous visits! Limited choice of tables due to a private function but still enjoyable.

Didn't really expect much coming here but the burger I had, The Mighty Double, was amazing. Also the fries were delicious. The side of fried jalapeños were a nice extra. If you're not super hungry, try the wings with Frank's Hot Sauce. Great value for money.

Nice food. Good childrens area. Good value overall, and right on the humber!

A few years ago this place used to serve average pub food at lower than average prices. Now it seems to serve very poor quality food at low prices. The place is now poorly maintained and not very clean.

User

Went shopping saw lunch time meal deals called in instead of going for a sandwich. Good choice of specials enjoyed the meal.

Never had a bad visit yet! Our go to place for as long as I can remember, even though it's across the city. Great value, relaxed atmosphere and good food.
