Sainsbury'S

Had a baked potato in the cafe. It was like a large new potato it was so small. It was only just hot enough to melt the butter but not the cheese , given a table number marker so the waiting staff could deliver the food but it wouldn't stand up and was old and tatty , spoon was so worn that it had a sharp edge with fluff hooked in it and cake was dry with iced filling starting and inch in from the outside edge. The place was full of old people , seemed like a waiting room for death

Love this supermarket .The clothes and homeware are such good value .The food choice is good .medium range prices .

Big supermarket with a wide selection of groceries and home equipment, reasonable prices, at times half price for selected items so keep an eye.
There is a pharmacy inside if you should need any meds.
Also have an easy self checkout, and multi-use bags which also have thermal bags.
Lots of parking and don't forget to get Nectar card for special offers and points to use as cash.

Smallish Sainsbury supermarket. Not all Sainsbury online groceries are available and fresh produce lines have often run out after 7pm or so. Probably the best supermarket for city centre residents to walk to though.

A medium sized Sainsburys with a good sized car park. It's within easy walking distance of the city centre so you can visit more than just the supermarket. Just make sure you visit Sainsburys last and spend the minimum for your two hours. Also, there's a cafe that does a decent cooked breakfast.

Fairly small superstore (by superstore standards), but recently been extended and has more choice now. Plenty of choice and friendly staff. Lots of self checkouts so you can come and go quickly.

Clean and spacious. Good clothing section

Not as modern as some Sainburys but as its local I use it lots. Staff are friendly, prices are good, mind you I'm waiting for the new Aldi to open, so we'll see what happens then!
