Sainsbury'S

They have changed their dinner menu in the cafe and there is very little choice. Will be going to the c Pelican for dinner now on the few occasions we now shop at Sainsbury. As has been for the past 18 months the range of groceries they stock has been getting less and the amount of discs on the shelves has been getting greater where they have either run out of stock (bad stock planning) or just not restocking the shelves quickly enough. What ever the reasons it means we have to do twice for our weekly ship which we generally do not have to when we shop at Tesco. There is only one item that we have to buy from Sainsbury is their multiseed bread. It out wasn't for that then we would no longer buy from Sainsbury. We were once a loyal customer but no longer. I heard on the news that profits has dropped which is no surprise as it has been getting increasingly and noticably quiet/less customers.

I love this store. Staff are always helpful and friendly. The only gripe I have is their breakfasts in the cafe. They are really awful.

A very well laid out supermarket. It has a nice airy feel, never feeling claustrophobic, even when busy. With it being such a large site, the selection is excellent, especially the beer & spirit aisle, my personal favourite! Having a Lloyds pharmacy and an Argos inside is really handy, and there is a large petrol station, a Boots chemist and a community centre in the grounds too. The car park is large and well laid out as well. Excellent.

Good selection of food and non food items and a sub branch of Argos instore. Great cafe too. Lots of parking and also a petrol station.

Average Sainsbury's with a reasonable selection on non food items.
Recently had a refurb to accommodate an Argos outlet not yet open (end July 17).
Much improved non food section, this is a large section of the store and has far more selection than previously.
Lighting has been replaced with LED and is excellent, a big improvement.
Some counters have been replaced and overall the store is a big improvement.

Helpful staff. Convenient location. Great range including argos coming soon

Loads of parking spaces, nice clothes section, cafe, love the fruit and veg , would like a lot more gluten free products very limited

Sainsbury's Barnstaple are great! Always welcomed with very helpful staff, lovely display of flowers and plants, a lovely place to shop and browse!
