Sainsbury'S

Cockermouth's Sainsbury's is a very pleasant shop right in the heart of the town. It has the typical food and drink offering plus a bakery, fish and meat counters and a fresh pizza area. Worth a look.

Small but perfect. The staff are friendly. The produce is well stocked. Beware that you need to pay for parking although it will be refunded by the cashier at checkout and you will also need a coin for the trolley.

Central location. Good/reasonable prices on a good selection of foodstuffs. Very friendly staff.

There is a lot of lovely fresh produce on offer and especially the fresh bakery section which you really have to visit. The bakery staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a fresh fish and a deli counter and one of the largest gluten-free displays I've seen. The freezer section lets the store down I think as it is so small but the aisles are lovely and wide. There is a large range of most other items and always 'special offers' on. You do pay at the car park but you will get refund for that at the checkout. Baskets and trolleys are just by the front door which is helpful.

A well presented store with good parking and a good range of products.

Quality of fresh Products like meat and vegetables is really good. You will find every thing you need.

Good selection of products, always a few bargains and special deals to be found. Staff friendly, queues moved quickly.

It's a great boon to the town offering variety it never had before at fair prices.
