We went to Sala Thong two nights om the trot !! We love it after going there maybe three months ago when workng in stevenage we found this the most amazing restaurant !!! Excellent food and service which prompted us to have a holiday in Thailand which we fell in love with . We arrived back last week and rushed back to this restaurant as the food is as amazing !!!

Simply fabulous and very authentic. Having lived in Thailand and loving the local food, this was as good as you get. We had a good selection of food but the Pad Thai, Massaman curry and sticky mango rice with coconut ice cream all stood out. Definite worth a visit.

Sala Thong have got it all right, the atmosphere, the decor, the service, the staff and most importantly the food. Had a fantastic evening and will definitly be back. Am craving more of the food already �

It gets extremely busy from 6pm, so you must book.

We dined as a party of 4, we each had different dishes and they were all fantastic. Every dish is packed full of flavour and plentiful.

We highly recommend the beef curry!

1st time I've bn had lunch menu was lush defo be coming back!

We had beef massaman and a thai green chicken curry very well presented and tasted great ,coconut rice delicious.Thai beer was nice too.In general a bit more expensive than others have visited but definitely worth it �

Saturday afternoons trip to this authentic Thai restaurant the was a delight.

We loved the the range of food and ordered plenty (although still catering too much to the western palate but totally understandable & nothing a little dried chilli didn't cure x ) the ambience & decor classy, the staff pleasant helpful and polite and the lovely waitress was from near our home town in Sisaket, Thankyou for the loan of your glasses!

Crammed, rushed to leave our table as they were so busy - food good but would not rush back �

No record of booking

We arrived at 8pm for our table which i booked in January for 8 people. The first thing I noticed on entering was how crammed in everyone was and that despite the restaurant being full not one table had any food on it, not a good sign. We were then approached by the waiter where I gave the booking name, he went away and came back showing me his list which didn’t have our booking on. I pulled up the email I had been sent confirming my booking but he didn’t really seem interested, he then walked off again and came back a few minutes later with an ipad and asked me to type in my email address, as if my email wasn’t proof enough!! We were then just told to wait at the bar, no information provided on what was happening, there clearly wasn’t enough room to fit us in. We weren’t even offered a complimentary drink! After about 5 minutes we left and found somewhere else to fit us in. Disappointing as we had heard the food was great!
