We are working together with Crew Clothing and Salcombe Gin to bring you the Salcombe Gin Distillery Dining Experience.
The intimate dinner will take place inside Salcombe Gin Distillery, where you’ll be able to enjoy beautiful sunset views over the water.
Local ingredients will be served up by Salcombe’s own Galley Girls and washed down with drinks designed to go perfectly with each dish.
... A taste of what’ll be on the menu*:
Canapés on arrival with a welcome drink of ‘Salcombe & Tonic’ that comes with a signature slice of red grapefruit. Starter of Devon crab, prawns and locally smoked Salmon paired with a refreshing ‘Salcombe cocktail’ Local fillet of beef served on a bed of crushed new potatoes with a glass (or two!) of fine red or rosé wine A classic British dessert with a ‘Salcombe cocktail’ made to bring out the flavours
This unique collaboration between Crew Clothing and Salcombe Gin is not to be missed.
Tickets are very limited. Get yours now: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-ultima te-dining-experien…

We were treated to a Special offer incorporating Dinner, a great room and breakfast. We made use of the Spa. We also found time to have a walk around Salcombe. What a brilliant experience altogether? We were very impressed with the Hotel and Staff who were so friendly and polite throughout.

User

We just love spending time here at the Salcombe Harbour Hotel. Staff friendly , nothing to much trouble. The Burns night 5 course meal was excellent so delicious. Rooms are clean comfortable and the view is to die for. Spa we used the pool area and this was very nice. Can’t wait to book our next visit.

We have just celebrated our wedding with you. Milly, you are fantastic, the most amazing wedding co-ordinator. Everything was perfect, the food, the room, the flowers, our whole entire day. Everything like the cake, Milly listened and turned our requests in to the best results you could ever have hoped for.

All our guests are in love with the hotel and enjoyed the wedding even more than we did. Big Big Thankyou xxxxx

My colleagues (Salcombe Trading Company) and I stayed last night. Cannot fault any part of the stay. Check in, efficient and friendly.

Spa and Room, well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Breakfast and dinner, very good staff and delicious.

Weather was sublime.

We'll be back in 4 weeks!

It’s rare that I am so impressed with a hotel but this place is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are wonderfully attentive, food is delicious (we had steak - perfectly cooked) room is lovely, bright and airy with a fantastic view of the estuary. Can’t think of a better way to celebrate our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you to all at Salcombe Harbour Hotel.

Having stayed last year we called in with family for Sunday brunch. Such a great location with all facilities you ever need

User

Having not stayed at the Salcombe Harbour Hotel I can only provide feedback from our customers.

We are a Totnes based Taxi Company and regularly take customers to the Hotel. We have always had excellent feedback from our customers who have always said they will return. The hotel is stunning inside and out and set in a stunning location.

User

Amazing Hotel, perfect in every way.

We've traveled all over the world and stayed in some very nice hotels and the young man that was on reception when we checked in could get a job in any of them. What an absolute asset to the Salcombe Harbour he is. Really sorry I didn't get his name but thank you for everything you did for us.

User

2 night stay in the hotel and it was fantastic. Excellent room. Breakfast was fab and staff very lovely and service excellent too. Defo 5* service and can’t wait to return. We went for a wedding and everything was lovely. My only comment I would like to say is I went with my 3 yr old and she wanted to swim, but the pool only has certain children swimming times, which I understand. But the times of the swimming are 8.30-10 and 4.30 til 6. Which for parents with children are breakfast and tea time, so could not really use the pool for her. This would be my only downfall on the whole of the stay

User

This was our third stay and this time we brought friends because we had been so impressed. Sad to say that I'm not sure we'll return as we were really disappointed this time. The difference between a low and high rated hotel is the little details. The little details were missing this time; we had to call three times for things missing in our room, were disturbed from 7:15am onwards in our room by the turntable by noise from staff moving trolleys around loudly and large numbers of items were missing from the (already small) menu in the restaurant. I had to specifically ask for a vegetarian menu and this was a very restrictive vegan version. I was told I could ask for cheese on top of any of the vegan dishes if I wanted to make it more traditionally vegetarian. This felt like the kind of menu veggies were offered 30 years ago and these limited choices really spoilt what should have been a special meal. I don't think it would too to difficult include a couple of veggie options in each course so that I didn't have to feel like I was being difficult or fussy? The staff in the restaurant agreed with us that the heating was up way too high and as such was oppressive meaning that we cut our evening short. We felt so sad to have recommended a place we have enjoyed so much to friends and then have the edge taken off it with the missing attention to detail. In future we may go elsewhere; expecting less but certainly paying less.

User

It has all the elements of being a fantastic place to stay. However, it needs some significant staff training. Service level for a hotel of this standard should be second to none... unfortunately that’s not the way it is.....

User

Five star price, two star service. Rude restaurant manager, under cooked food and rooms not cleaned properly. After the first day we refused to eat there again. Very expensive very disappointed. We will not be going back.

User

Very disappointed today with afternoon tea. Basic sandwiches, no pastries as advertised and dry scones. Not the standard I’d hoped for having heard good things about the hotel and sadly not worth the two hour round trip.

User

So disappointed with spa morning. 25 minute massage where the therapist barely spoke to me and didn’t ask me anything. Was not a relaxing experience. Not made to feel welcome in the spa. Had to ask where everything was. However the restaurant was an amazing experience. Fantastic lunch attentive and friendly staff even though they were rushed off their feet. Would return to the restaurant but will not be recommending the spa to my family and friends.

User

Lovely setting, however was let down by an overpriced spa treatment which should have been 70mins but lasted 55mins, also when we sat down for lunch the soup was cold and my partners fish was raw. We did get a discount on the meal but you expect better from this type of facility.

User

We were looking at the Harbour for. Wedding , I had booked in the week for a viewing of a room , a table for 4 for lunch at 12. There was no one to show us around the room , our table for 4 was not ready we waited an hour for our food, which was good but too long await considering there were only 2 other people in the restaurant . Went back after lunch to view rooms and was told there still wasn’t any one to show us a room . Oh well Harbour major

Loss of custom !!!!
