Already pay most of your bills by direct debit? Why not council tax too? Sign up at http://socsi.in/039f1 & help us to help you by spending our resources on vital services for residents rather than council tax collection #quicker easierbetter #digitalsalford
We've already had a great response to our bin men's #Santa appeal. They're collecting gifts to make sure #Salford children don't miss Christmas. If you can help, please leave a gift with any bin/food caddy being collected this week or hand to crew. Or donate at Civic Centre/Unison in Swinton or Turnpike depot, Eccles. Thank you!

Greater Manchester Cycling and Walking Advocacy Group,
🗓️ Tuesday 4 December ⌚ 6pm.
... Come and find out more about a new Greater Manchester-wide, non-political advocacy group promoting walking and cycling as solutions to the big crises of our era — physical inactivity, air pollution, climate change and congestion.
We want to build the biggest popular movement in Manchester since the Suffragettes, ensuring that our rapidly growing region is designed around people, not cars. Together, we will campaign to make our streets safer, nicer and cleaner for everyone to walk or bike to school or work.
With £160m already committed to walking and cycling —and the potential of a billion or more to come —we will be a strong and coherent grassroots campaign, making sure the money is spent on what people want.
Chris Boardman, Greater Manchester's walking and cycling commissioner, will be with us to share his vision.
You will get the chance to vote on a name for the new group and to share your ideas.
Everyone welcome. Arrive from 6pm - the meeting will start at 6.30pm and run until approximately 8pm. Then we will decamp to a pub for a social.
If you can't come but want to be added to the mailing list to find out more, email h_pidd@hotmail.com

Too much sugar causes tooth decay which leads to pain. The Change4Life app makes it easier to find hidden sugar in food. Brushing twice is nice. Ask your school, dentist, or health visitor for more information.
