Salient Books Description

Salient Books was set up by my wife Helen and I to produce and sell books that I have written about the Great War. We have since added other authors to our brand. I might do the writing but Helen is the technical genius behind our book production and design. We aim to produce about two books a year, that is not many but we both have other occupations and the creation of a book takes time!

Section occupying place without room for sick horses. [In other words their new site was useless for their needs. An infantry company had taken over their former billets but did not need the horse standing area and the vets had to use their former position for their patients. It was two days march away for a sick animal.]
