Sam Allwood set up his point to point training yard in 2010, situated in the village of Ash Magna near Whitchurch, Shropshire. The yard is now rapidly expanding and includes 12 stables an all weather school and a horse walker with two grass gallops approximately 10 minutes on horse back from the yard.

Prior to training in his own right , Sam spent three seasons with Phillip Hobbs where he learnt lots about the regimes classy horses need to produce their best performances. Sam then spent time at Robert Alners yard in Dorset, where the Alners were brilliant at keeping horses at their best for a long period of time.

Sam also spent time whilst riding out at numerous other yards including Victor Dartnall and Dan Skelton.

In total he has ridden 75 winners under rules and in point to points.

Everyone associated with the yard is eagerly looking forward to the 2014 /15 season.
