Sam Race - Venue Decoration

Well. How do I describe Sam. From the moment my wife and I met her at a wedding show, it’s been a laugh a minute! Knowledgable, talented, enthusiastic, one of the most hardworking people we’ve ever met, she’s an absolute joy to be around and we couldn’t be happier with how our venue looked. She decorated the boathouse for our wedding on the 22nd September and we’ve been inundated with compliments on how beautiful it was! Nothing was too much trouble and we can’t speak highly enough of her! If you wish for the most stunningly beautiful decorations, done with the utmost care and attention, then look no further! Sam, you were amazing and we both can’t thank you enough!

Well where do i start!! Right from first meeting sam i knew we would definitely have her decorate our venue. Throughout the planning and uming and arhhing she was helpful and worked with us and alongside our budget, nothing was to much trouble. Her attention to detail blew us away and we had so many wonderful comments on how gorgeous it looked! I will post some pictures once we receive our professional ones. She’s definitely 10/10!!! We had Sam booked since we got engaged, she was one of the first people we met going round wedding fairs and was fantastic the whole way through the planning! She met with us a few times to discuss ideas and make suggestions when me and my partner had little imagination! Nothing was too much trouble! Sam installed paper lanterns at the boathouse, jetty lights and we hired the ice white LOVE letters, Sam even delivered the table decorations which were done by another supplier and made sure the tables looked perfect! Our wedding venue looked incredible thanks to Sam's hard work!

Sam was originally recommended to me by some other wedding decorators, but what convinced me to hire her was her creative vision and just the knowledge that she is a specialist in her field who has the experience and the energy and the genuine desire to make sure you have a great experience of using her. She did not disappoint. Sam was simply incredible on the day! First of all she has such a lovely warm and comforting manner. Secondly when she arrived and detected issues she just solved matters in lightning speed. I also loved that she made the process fun and made suggestions on the day that I could feed into to make sure it corresponded to my vision. Numerous people commented on the great lighting and lanterns and they looked incredible on the photos. She worked her guts off on the day to make sure all was perfect.

Sam was amazing from the day we met right up to the wedding day. She took my ideas and literally made it all happen. Even on the day of the wedding which was a 150 mile round trip for her she came and fixed things after I'd had a panic when the draping had slipped down. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her xx

Sam recently decorated our school hall for an awards evening and did an awesome job. She made a bland space, exciting and transformed the hall ready for the awards evening. We will definitely be re-booking her. �

Sam provided the venue decoration for our wedding recently , hanging lanterns , draping with fairy lighting behind , LOVE letters and exterior lighting for when the sun went down , it looked amazing!! You don’t just get amazing venue decor , you get Sam’s passion aswel ! we were always confident in the build up when we met with Sam and delighted when we turned up at the venue. Thanks Sam . Sam provided our balloons for our wedding reception on Saturday and they were just fab!!! They finished the room off perfectly, we also had an exploding ballon which our little boy loved bursting while we did our first dance, a fantastic moment!! Excellent service from start to finish. Sam provided lanterns and a backdrop for love letters for my mums wedding and from the off on the Friday this lady and her daughter couldn't have done anymore for you. She went above and beyond to help out with decorating the venue and turned the place into more than my mum imagined. Anything the venue needed she had it in the van! I would highly recommend Sam for her hardwork but most of all going above and beyond helping out a bride before her big day. Thank you Xx

Sam dressed our venue (Thorpeness Country Club) with lanterns and fairy light drapes with lots more!! Sam went above and beyond to make sure our venue looked the best it could and I can’t thank you enough for making it look so beautiful! Would highly recommend, everything was just perfect! Xx

Sam Race is a true creative. I gave her some very basic ideas and she made them shine! Working with her was SO easy. Nothing was too much trouble and she honestly cared about my day. I can not recommend this lovely lady highly enough. If you have the chance to book her for your wedding, do it! It’ll be one of the best decisions you make.

Not only is Sam one of the loveliest human beings you will ever encounter, when it comes to her work she is creative, dedicated, passionate and brilliant. She is undoubtedly the best at what she does! Sam did a phenomenal job in decorating my wedding venue – she took my ideas, ran with them and made the place look even better than I could have possibly imagined. No job is too big or too small for Sam and she will go out of her way to get the job done how you want it- and better still! She is a little pocket rocket, the most energetic and enthusiastic person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and is an inspiration when it comes to doing what you love. Sam champions other women in her industry, has a positive approach to everything she does and is an absolute joy to talk to and bounce ideas off! I’ve been speaking with her since August 2016, pretty much daily (sorry Sam!) and I consider her more of a friend now than a ‘wedding supplier’. Lynn Grove Academy Prom 2018. I can't thank you enough. The room was beautiful, it was everything and more than i ever expected. The students jaws dropped when they walked in, they loved it. The attention to detail and commitment to a customer is outstanding.

Just wow. Sam provided us with the most magnificent balloons for an event we held. She did them in a way that they looked like they were floating at height in the room. Everyone was amazed and commented on them. Thank you so much Sam you truly are a wonderful talented lady �

Josh and I went to school with Sam’s lovely daughter Shannon, if we’d have known how cool Sam was, we’d have been round every week for dinner! Sam is such a breath of fresh hair when planning a wedding, she’s so relaxed and it kind of rubs off.. and that’s coming from a self confessed stress head! Everything was so chill and just involved texting a few pics over of the sort of things we had in mind. Our venue looked absolutely stunning and all day we had comments on it, with people still talking about it weeks later. It was everything we could have dreamed of and more.. and we’re fussy � We had warm fairy lights draped from the beams of the 17th century barn, a full canopy of white lanterns through the centre of the marque, tall wooden ‘J&E’ lights, the backs of the aisle seats dressed during the ceremony in white which we decorated with Gyp and a cream runner through the centre which we decorated with white rose petals and all for the most reasonable price! Could not recommend enough, a very lovely & talented lady x

I first saw what Sam could do at a wedding fair at The Boathouse just weeks before our wedding, luckily she was available on our date so we booked her! I was so pleased we did because she made it look absolutely beautiful ( even more so than it already does.) We had warm fairy lights inside and outside and the beautiful lanterns in our colour scheme it was perfect!! I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for venue decoration xxx

I can not recommend Sam highly enough, we were absolutely thrilled with the drapes & fairy lights she put up for us at Stower Grange. They totally transformed the room, all our guests were commenting on how stunning it looked, thank you Sam!! Xxxx
