I’m loving this from @dr.caleb.burgess and I’m currently swinging from comfort zone to learning zone with my work and growth will come from that, however the fear zone is my place of day to day life, when it comes to singing in public, social/human connection in real time and this diagram is so cool to help me and YOU to prioritise your path! With all shapes and sizes, makes and designs,high instep, fallen arches, this personally IS a big help to me. Leisure trainers needed the wide foot lace, however my @karrimor_uk trainers need the narrow lace for slightly more support (right foot). Takes literally a minute and the difference is noticeable instantly. With the up and coming #worldchampionships for #pilotgigrowing in the #scilles this coming weekend - these guys @ilfracombe_pilot_gig_club attended yet another workshop session to ensure their personal maintenance, #bodyawareness and maximum #performance is on point. Contents covered - #muscularrelease (quadriceps, back / top to bottom, latissimus dorsi and glutes) That was fun(ny) #mobility and #range #cardio #strengthandconditioning (#upperbody #core and legs #squats and #lunges ) Weaknesses and what we can do about it and #stretching / #flexibility - the added bonus was #playing with #handstands (guided and supported). After a particularly structured session this morning A 3 stage warm up, which was done twice, One round of a very diverse circuit and then specific musculature stretches for posture and pelvic behaviour - I always reflect on how it went, the progressive nature of each exercise and how I catered for the individual.

This is where my man Ajay is with his physical AND mental ability. #running #cardio #stamina #endurance #perserverance. This was his final round of hill reps this morning. 45 mins of progressively increased pace, distance and angles. With push ups in between, varying in numbers to ensure his body position and quality. I could not be more proud of him (last May 21.7st) Presently at 15.11st - is it any easier for him - hell no!! But he is in contact with me, he has his family a...round him and he is not looking for a quick fix, he is changing in his mindset (positivity, being present, emotional regulation) life presents day to day challenges and it’s our responsibility to react, adapt and use our nearest and dearest to help us! Have we got all the aspect of this down to a high level of perfection, No! Why? Because as I said above, we are tested - tired, stressed, emotional, finances can restrict our choices. We spent five days with Sam. I hate going to gym because I get bored but Sam made our sessions interesting. He also explained all the moves and what they do to our bodies. I am so impressed with his knowledge and ability to teach/motivate. The only downside is, I live nearly 6 hours away and can't attend his sessions . Sam set the bar so high up, I know I will compare every other instructor to him . As he is one of the best in his game, it will be difficult to find someone like him.

Sam is the best PT IŌĆÖve dealt with to date. HeŌĆÖs knowledgable and tailors exercises to your needs and abilities without being pushy or judgmental (like a few PTŌĆÖs IŌĆÖve met in the past!). I love that he focuses on biomechanics and takes the time to explain why youŌĆÖre doing a particular exercise and how itŌĆÖll help you. I spent the week being trained by Sam @ Slimmeria in North Devon,and feel stronger and more flexible as a result. The only downside is that heŌĆÖs based in Devon and not London but such is life ’┐Į Top guy! ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

I've been attending Sam's classes for a few weeks at Air Extreme with my friend, and he has been absolutely fantastic. He always sneaks a few new moves in to each session to keep us motivated, and tailors the session to all abilities of fitness. We have been so impressed with Sam's coaching that we are also going to have some PT sessions with him. Sam is really patient and friendly with a great positive energy. I would really recommend him to anyone looking to feel inspired to increase their fitness. Thank you Sam ’┐Į

I had my first Devon class with Sam on 10th September 2016 and I absolutely loved it! I'm more of a distance runner so it was a refreshing change to challenge my fitness in a different way! And on Croyde beach! I have known Sam for ten years which is ample time for me to observe him build his character, brand and reputation. I recommend him.
