We had this Ford Focus in last week with a knocking from the rear suspension,
On inspection we found that one of the rear anti-rollbar links had sheared off
We replaced both rear anti-rollbar links as a pair and the knocking noise has gone away completely.

We had this KIA Cee'd in recently due to a noise coming from the rear brakes,
After replacing the rear brake discs, pads & parking brake shoes then adjusting the parking brake, the rear brakes are now in perfect working order.

We had this Vauxhall Corsa in recently with a coolant leak,
On inspection we found that a fitting on the water pump had snapped off allowing coolant to escape,
We replaced the water pump assembly with a revised item with a metal fitting which should last a lot longer than the original plastic part.
... This corsa is now ready to hit the road again with no more leaks.

We had this Peugeot 5008 in with a coolant leak recently,

We had this Land Rover Freelander in last week for the Rear Prop Centre Bearings to be replaced as they were roaring when the car got over 15mph.

We had this Peugeot Bipper in last week due to the battery light being illuminated,
After a quick test we could see that the alternator was at fault,
Once replaced, the battery light immediately went out once the engine was started and the charging system is now producing a healthy 14.2Volts

We had this Vauxhall Vivaro in recently for the Timing Belt & Water Pump to be replaced,
On inspection we noticed that the alternator belt was badly worn so we replaced that too with the customers approval.

We haven't posted any updates for a while but we've been busy here at Sam's Motor Services,
Recently we had this Suzuki Jimny in for a towbar & 7pin electrics to be fitted, and to repair the 4wd system which wouldnt engage.
After fitting the towbar and electrics we replaced the rusty old metal vacuum lines on the front axle with more future proof silicone vacuum tubing.
... The 4wd system now engages and disengages perfectly.

We had this Modified Audi A3 in this week for some headlamp upgrades.
We installed the following: - Aftermarket Angel Eye Headlamp Units - 5000K HID Kit ... - USDM Running Light Kit - LED Main Beam Bulbs - LED Bulbs in Angel Eyes
These upgrades have transformed the light output on dark roads, making it far easier to see at night whilst driving.
This Audi is due to come back soon for some performance upgrades too so watch this space!

We had this little Citroen C2 in this week due to a bad grinding noise which got louder when the clutch was pressed.
On inspection we diagnosed the fault to be the thrust release bearing. Once the gearbox was removed it became obvious that the bearing had collapsed, we also noticed that the clutch plate itself was quite worn.
... After replacing the clutch with a 3-piece kit, this little citroen is now running nice and smoothly!
