I'm really glad that I took this course at Samson academy. The team of tutors, mocks and Dr Samson himself were crucial to my success. I wanted to attend another academy but I had some visa issues and when I eventually rectified it, Samson's academy was the only available one for the dates I had. I never regretted attending it. one of the best definitely, the tutors are really good and helpful, the mocks prepare u well for the exam, none of the other academies give u 4 mocks with 18 stations each,and the feed back from Dr. Samson though could get really harsh but is also really useful. Also in Samson PLAB Academy u learn how to approach any new stations, so even if you get new stations u will not get blocked Only two points that I wish they could work on, there were no written notes, so we had to write everything ourselves which for some pple might not be ideal, and some of the tutors were not really punctual. To be honest I had my doubts during the course, but after I finished with the exam and before even getting my result back I realised how great Samson is and he knows exactly what he is doing! Definitely recommend this academy for anyone who wants to pass

I am very glad I chose Samson Plab to prepare for the PLAB2 exam. The staff is dedicated, helpful and very knowledgeable. I passed my PLAB2 exam with a 170 and I know I couldn't have done it without Samson Plab!

Samson Plab academy, is the worst I’ve ever encountered.

Abysmal attitude and management



The standards are sub optimal and absolute lack of professionality. I wouldn’t recommend this course let alone this academy, the reason being as healthcare providers we are partly examined for being professional and i am sure this isn’t the right place for it. Moreover, the lack of communication, if any.



I have booked the ORE part 2 manikin course almost 3 month before the exam and 6 weeks before commencement of the course. I even spoke to Mr Samson on the phone when i attempted to book the course and he personally mentioned the dates over the phone and was sent in writing to my email.



On the day of the course, i show up to find the receptionist surprised to find me there and had no idea a course was planned to run. She disappeared for a while and came back to tell me about the problem. She stated the course has been cancelled due to the lack of bookings and i was not informed about prior to that. Since Mr Samson was not there, she told me that she has reached on the phone and that he proposed two options ;

This was 6 weeks before the exam. I have gently explained that this is their fault and its only fair that rectify the situation and i shouldn’t be paying extra for their mistakes. Moreover, I’ve mentioned that they’ve out me in a very tight spot, since finding any availability at any other course would be impossible and this situation was their doing. The response i had from the secretary was and i quote “ I understand your concern and I’m with you one hundred percent, but Mr Samson is very rude and unprofessional and he’s made up his mind ”.





Even though, i was tight on time and i knew it would be almost impossible to find any spot on amy other course, I’ve decided to take a refund and look elsewhere. This academy isn’t to be trusted nor it has any sort of standards.

Poor communication. Poor administration. Very disappointed. Expected better from SamsonPLAB. Confirmed my booking in March for a place on the Physican Associate Course advertised as running 5th-9th April, with mock exam dates pending. In order to attend the course I had to take leave from work, travel down from Manchester and arrange accommodation. Turned up on day 1 of the course only to be told the course was not running due to low sign up numbers. I was kept waiting a whole hour as told Dr. Samson would arrive later. Never met Dr. Samson. After waiting for an hour, I got told by the staff they were sorry that there was no course running. They could not explain why they could not even send an email 24 hours in advance to advise the course was not going ahead. I was given the pathetic excuse that they have been very busy. No alternate course dates offered. No resolution. Very disappointed. Based on this experience, I do not recommend SamsonPLAB.

It is absolutely appalling that a family member of mine has been blocked from the revision site after paying full fees because he sent to its management a message of complaint regarding incorrect and out of date information, numerous spelling mistakes and that the website was down for a number of days before the exam.



This is NOT the way to deal with feedback from a student whom has paid the fees in full ! This site makes a mockery of education. The correct thing for management of this site is to fix all the issues and to send an immediate apology for this treatment of injustice to a student who does not deserve this !

I wanted to attend another academy but I had some visa issues and when I eventually rectified it, Samson's academy was the only available one for the dates I had. I never regretted attending it. one of the best definitely, the tutors are really good and helpful, the mocks prepare u well for the exam, none of the other academies give u 4 mocks with 18 stations each,and the feed back from Dr. Samson though could get really harsh but is also really useful. Also in Samson PLAB Academy u learn how to approach any new stations, so even if you get new stations u will not get blocked Only two points that I wish they could work on, there were no written notes, so we had to write everything ourselves which for some pple might not be ideal, and some of the tutors were not really punctual. The standards are sub optimal and absolute lack of professionality. I wouldn’t recommend this course let alone this academy, the reason being as healthcare providers we are partly examined for being professional and i am sure this isn’t the right place for it. Moreover, the lack of communication, if any.



I have booked the ORE part 2 manikin course almost 3 month before the exam and 6 weeks before commencement of the course. I even spoke to Mr Samson on the phone when i attempted to book the course and he personally mentioned the dates over the phone and was sent in writing to my email.



On the day of the course, i show up to find the receptionist surprised to find me there and had no idea a course was planned to run. She disappeared for a while and came back to tell me about the problem. She stated the course has been cancelled due to the lack of bookings and i was not informed about prior to that. Since Mr Samson was not there, she told me that she has reached on the phone and that he proposed two options ;

For me to pay extra and receive private tutoring

To refund the my money

This was 6 weeks before the exam. I have gently explained that this is their fault and its only fair that rectify the situation and i shouldn’t be paying extra for their mistakes. Moreover, I’ve mentioned that they’ve out me in a very tight spot, since finding any availability at any other course would be impossible and this situation was their doing. The response i had from the secretary was and i quote “ I understand your concern and I’m with you one hundred percent, but Mr Samson is very rude and unprofessional and he’s made up his mind ”.





Even though, i was tight on time and i knew it would be almost impossible to find any spot on amy other course, I’ve decided to take a refund and look elsewhere. This academy isn’t to be trusted nor it has any sort of standards.

Confirmed my booking in March for a place on the Physican Associate Course advertised as running 5th-9th April, with mock exam dates pending. In order to attend the course I had to take leave from work, travel down from Manchester and arrange accommodation. Turned up on day 1 of the course only to be told the course was not running due to low sign up numbers. I was kept waiting a whole hour as told Dr. Samson would arrive later. Never met Dr. Samson. After waiting for an hour, I got told by the staff they were sorry that there was no course running. They could not explain why they could not even send an email 24 hours in advance to advise the course was not going ahead. I was given the pathetic excuse that they have been very busy. No alternate course dates offered. No resolution. Very disappointed. Based on this experience, I do not recommend SamsonPLAB.

It is absolutely appalling that a family member of mine has been blocked from the revision site after paying full fees because he sent to its management a message of complaint regarding incorrect and out of date information, numerous spelling mistakes and that the website was down for a number of days before the exam.



This is NOT the way to deal with feedback from a student whom has paid the fees in full ! This site makes a mockery of education. The correct thing for management of this site is to fix all the issues and to send an immediate apology for this treatment of injustice to a student who does not deserve this !
