Sanctuary For Veterans

Sanctuary for Veterans was set up in 2011 by founder Joe O'Connor to offer injured Veterans and their families, from all conflicts, respite and rejuvenation at a relaxing retreat. The retreats will provide support and relaxation with bespoke services to enable our Veterans to reach their true potential. The programme will be designed to focus on the Veterans and families wellbeing and empower them with the skills and knowledge to develop and resettle into the wider community. We have planning permission to develop for our first rural Sanctuary in Cheshire and are now currently raising funds for the construction, with a targeted completion date of late 2015. We are also developing a network of urban drop in centres with the first due to open in early 2014 in the centre of Widnes in Cheshire.
