Good morning to all
Having read the government guidance it looks like the provisional date for being able to reopen will be 4th July. If you have a booking before this date you can contact us from today and we can discuss what you would like to do with your booking. We have availability for July, August and September if you would like to change your dates and have a break away or we will arrange a refund of deposits for those that need to cancel altogether. If you change you...r dates and stays are still not possible in the summer period deposits will be refunded at a later date if it becomes necessary to cancel.
During this time we are closed we are working on a plan to ensure safety of guests when we reopen and you will receive this information before your stay where possible.
We hope everyone is staying safe and we look forward to seeing you in the months to come.

Hi all hope you are keeping well. We are aware that a number of guests have bookings with us for the half term holidays, once we have heard the results of the lockdown review next Thursday we will make contact with those affected to ask what you would like to do with your bookings, if we are not able to open we will be offering either a change of dates or a refund of the deposit.

Still no idea unfortunately when we can open, I am sure we all agree though that everyone's health comes first, in the meantime I have been been busy with my hobby creating these 😀

As we can't use the dining room at the moment the table in the window has been taken over by Paddington and Hallie, after having breakfast and playing mousetrap over the past couple of weeks today they have taken up knitting and crochet 😀

Making use of the extra space we currently have, this morning we have made a nerf shooting range on the first floor landing 😂
Hope everyone is keeping well and hope to see you in the future when we can put the house back to its intended use 😀

In line with the government instructions we are currently closed. We are aware that guests have bookings with us in the months to come. Given the current uncertainty we would ask that you contact us two weeks before you are due to travel to us and we can organise whatever it is necessary to do - a free of charge cancellation, a change of dates or for some hopefully a stay as originally booked when we are able to open up again.

The Out there performing arts festival wasn't just outside the guest house this year ☺

We look forward to meeting guests this summer new and old. Please help us by arriving between 2pm and 9pm only when you will recieve a warm welcome rather than in the busy morning hours when we are hot, sticky and exasperated at being called to the front door whilst trying to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests. This includes requests for parking which will be provided from 2pm as explained in the confirmations.

Hot weather forecast this week. We have 2 doubles left Monday to Friday at present if anyone wants to bag a last minute break away ☺

Toby has been helping in the Guest House since he was 6 years old, he started off making up the tea trays and now at 14 is invaluable in a Sunday morning stripping beds, emptying bins and generally running up and down the stairs helping to make sure rooms are ready for incoming guests. He has been looking at the Guest house reviews and commenting that he works hard but no one knows, so this is his very own post to say well done Toby for all your hard work behind the scenes ☺
