Booker beware upon arrival we got the key to room 4 my advice would be walk away then .this room is so small it makes harry potter's cupboard under the stairs look big there's not even enough room to walk around the bed. if you want to shut the window tough it won't shut the bed is a small double with a foam topper that will give the fittest person a bad back .I was lucky if had 3hrs sleep i was up and checked out by 8 that morning also if you wish to view this room on the web site unlucky as for some unknown reason it's not on 😂will never come here again and I doubt they will put this review on either

Buyer beware check out the lease if it doesn't include the private accommodation you are not secure
The landlord can just walk in and steal your life away
Take your home your business and put your children on the street

Really nice hotel. Close to seafront. Nicely decorated room. Very decent price.

Was not welcomed upon arrival. Only ever saw the owners once.

Says it's a bed and breakfast, IS NOT A BED AND BREAKFAST.
There was food under the bed from previous guest.
The dust was about an inch thick!
There was mould in the bathroom.
Said the beds would be changed every three days they was not changed once.
Very unwelcoming, dingy, dirty and damp.

Defiantly would not stay again or recommended for anyone to stay here!!!!!!

Initially I'd like a full refund of my money!
Or I'll be writing an article about how terrible my stay was.

Myself and partner paid £20 pounds to stay later as our train wasn't until 6:20.

I have picture proof of the uncleanness of this 'hotel'.

Only reason I saw owners was because myself went to them to ask if any bigger rooms was available as the room I had was a box!

In there pictures on here is says there's free fruit, not at all! Wasn't a piece of fruit in site. Also a free cocktail if you stay longer than 3 nights, I stayed 6 nights, once again, not in site. THIS IS CALLED FALSE ADVERTISING!!!

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DON'T NOT STAY HERE AT ALL!!

Fantastically located, you're right in the middle of the promenade so you have everything a short walk away whilst being away from the noise of the bars/casinos and what not.

Prior to arriving we received a text message with clear instructions on how to get in and up to our room in the unlikely event that the hosts weren't there - which happened to be the case as we arrived late, but that wasn't a problem. It was unfortunate that we never actually got to meet our hosts throughout our long weekend stay which I thought was a bit odd, but still not a huge problem as for any enquiry we had we received a swift text message response.

In regards to the actual hotel itself, it's warm, cosy and quiet. The room we were given was much the same, a small snug ensuite with a double bed taking up the majority of space.

There were a few very minor issues we found with the room in regards to cleanliness/hygiene and general maintenance; this included a lightly stained towel, a dark stain on the bedding, some dirt inbetween tiles in the bathroom, a broken and rusty toilet roll holder that felt like it was hanging off the wall, and lastly the handles for the windows were knackered to the point I was worried they were going to snap off opening and closing them.

The bed was very comfy to lie on, the pillows felt too hard for my liking but luckily there was a plethora of other pillows/cushions to lay your head on. The main issue we found with the bed though was that it was rather squeaky.

Lastly, upon checkout we asked if we could leave a bit later than the stated checkout time of 10:30am, which was no problem (again this was through text message), and that it would cost us £10 - this was somewhat understandable, however with nobody else having booked in for our specific room it was slightly irritating that we weren't allowed to stay that little bit extra for free until our train departure a little later that day, especially for not even getting to meet the hosts. It just felt too informal dropping a tenner and the keys through a little pigeonhole.

All in all its a lovely little place to stay that is fantastically located, and if we were to return to Blackpool I'm sure we would be checking availability here. You definitely get what you pay for.

The location was great. From walking in, we found it to be very inviting and homely. Before we arrived, we received text messages from the owners with useful tips, rules and how to contact them, which we found extremely handy. With regards to communicating via text message, I found this extremely handy when wanting a question answered. The room had all that was described in the advert and the size of the room was ideal for a couple. The bed is extremely comfy and makes you feel like sleeping if you spend more than a minute on it. The owners are really friendly and approachable. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it was great!
