Staff at A&E were excellent. Very helpful and offered a fantastic service, above and beyond expected!
The same goes for the staff in the surgical department. Very professional and helpful!
Could not have been in better hands!

Surgical sau staff very rude dont get me wrong was a few nice nursing staff but most was rude ward sister and other nursing staffs attitude is past a joke left in so much pain without pain relief even though the doctor prescribed pain relief and a drip stay away from this dirty hole of a place

Recently had a knee replacement at Sandwell.
Cannot praise all staff and departments concerned enough from pre op, through
operation and through Aftercare on ward Lyndon 3.
Looked after, wanted for nothing, food great etc etc.
All staff, day & night shifts were brilliant. Friendly, professional and a good laugh.
Kept spirits up through recovery process. Made experience easier & better alround.
Really appreciated. Many thanks X

They took me into the back for less than 30 seconds...I'm not even exaggerating. I'm pretty sure I'm smarter than those a&e doctors...sad

Edited my rating because the actual hospital is fine, just go to city hospital a&e and they'll transfer you to sandwell General

Been in and out for various complaints and have nothing but praise for all the staff. Consultants , mri , ward sisters etc all great.

Taken here after an rtc between myself (motorbike) and a car

Was discharged without being fully treated and with having a possible fractured humerus was given just a collar and cuff style sling, no painkillers or spare dressings for my wounds and the so called doctor who dressed my wounds didn't even attempt to clean them before dressing them just put some pads on and called it job done

Have to wait till the 22nd to see what damage I actually have to my arm (19 days from the accident date)

I would not reccomend this so called hospital to anyone ever it is a joke to call it such as ty get better treatment in a pharmacy

Review on Sandwell Hospital Lyondon Ground ward for children, we were admitted to the ward on the referal of the midwife, as our newborn was suffering from jondice, also high levels of iron in his blood, first day they discharged us pretty quickly, but they called us back in for 48hrs, my wife had recently gave birth was suffering from grazes, tempreature , high blood pressure, thryroid issues, they were adament she had to stay over night with our child, i fought with the staff as my wife was unable to look after our child on her own, due to her ill health, even though the staff knew she was unwell, they expected my wife to change our childs nappie & feed the child, my wife could barly walk without support, they didnt even give my wife a bed to sleep on, just a green slightly tilted chair, which was very uncomfortable for her due to grazes, we just wanted to get out of the ward as the nurses didnt check on us, i only asked the nurse to assist to change our childs nappie once, was told cant you learn to do it dad, dont you want to learn, despite havining no sleep for 48hrs. Word of advice seek alternative place to get treatment. Seems NHS has gone down the pan.

Great hospital. Has joint services with Dudley Road such as the blood testing.

The waiting times would be drastically cut if hypochondriacs, Munchausen's, Munchausen by proxies, and over protective parents stayed at home. Hospitals are over worked and under staffed, be grateful that you even have access to healthcare.
