Sandwich Wildlife Park

it is one of the worst places i have ever been to

This is so much more than a zoo, most of the species are endangered, this place is all about breeding and conservation. A place for grown ups and for kids, no play ground for screaming Johnnies, quiet and calm just as animals need it. We went last weekend on it's opening and are going back for a coastal walk with friends over Easter. It has only just reopened and there is still expansions happening but the new tiger enclosure is amazing. Got to pat a baby binturong while we were there too.

i went with a group inwhich the place stunk of ammonia.very strong urine smell.the animals had very small enclosures.the monkeys had small enclosures and they were gazing fru a window in a shed.these animals looked depressed.so was i when i left.never again.
