I'd rather give it no stars!
Avoid the touring site!! It's disgusting, no fire regulations are followed!

We stayed on the touring site. We booked a pitch 6m x 6m. The pitches are all grass and very boggy - A van is currently trying to park now and is stuck in the mud- we were told where the touring site was and told to pick a pitch. ALL the 3 or 4 spare pitches were churned up and full of water. We found a small pitch next to a caravan, the best there was, about 3-4m square.

There is no drainage whatsoever. trees and shrubs would help this.

The showers are a disgrace. I had to clean one before using it. We certainly will not be coming here again and have advised our friends to avoid too

The touring site resembles a gypsy site.

Avoid eating in the inside restraunt, we ordered Sausage. mash, peas and gravy. The mash was of the Smash powdered variety. Yep I'd probably use this at home occasionally but wouldn't expect to be served it in a restaurant.

The static holiday Park is beautifully kept.

Such a shame, we would have gone elsewhere but like the majority of people these days we dont have a massive bank balance so have had to make do.

Little expensive is the only downside I thought.on the plus side staff where great lots of clubs and shows at night for the kids. Great place close to home for a family get away also the beach is right on your doorstep within few minutes walk. Dog friendly park. I would most definitely visit again.

Great place to go with kids or dogs. Our dog wore herself out each day we were there on the beach, made countless friends of the canine variety while there. Stayed for 3nts in a 3 berth caravan well placed right next to shower block. The only complaint was waiting for 1hr each time we went for a meal, also only being able to sit outside. A meal isn't enjoyed as much when you've to sit+eat it in the rain.

After reading some of the reviews of this park I was unsure what to expect. When first arriving I was expecting lovely views however the first thing I noticed was the industrial estate. The beach area was scruffy with litter beer cans and cigarette buts were everywhere. The park was scruffy and small aimed for little children. The pool is smaller than expected and had time limits on it and was always busy. The area to the pool was dirty as was the clubhouse. The shop was very expensive so try not to forget anything when you do a shop for your stay. Did not buy drinks in the clubhouse or food as it was not an area I would be happy to sit. Trying to find the positives with this site but personally I can't. The kids arcade was small and lots of the machines had money stuck in them so could not use them. The caravan we booked was smaller than I had expected and was dull and uninviting. Not enough pillows or any coat hangers at all and only 2 pans that were to small to cook in. I went to reception to ask for some and was told some would be sent across but they never did. The weather did not help as it rained so finding places to go was not easy. In all the holidays I have been on this was the first that I wanted to leave and go home. My children although outgoing were a bit weary of kids on the site as some of the older ones were not nice. Sandy Bay is not a park I would return to or recommend worst holiday ever.

the facilities themselves were great and the pool was fantastic. shallow but good.
HOWEVER we booked a caravan for 7 people but only got one for 6. we managed as I don't mind sleeping on the floor but it's not great. also the chips could have been better from the chippy.

An average static caravan/campervan/campsite.
The grounds staff keep the place tidy and the bar staff are okay.
The food in the bar/restaurant is way overpriced for what it is. £9.50 for Ham, egg and chips? I have had better in supermarket cafes for half the price.

The evenings entertainment. The Kids club crew work hard. Very hard. Theres bingo in the early evenings, too, if thats your cup of tea.
Downsides.
The entertainments lounge is full from 6pm.
The walkways can become jammed quickly and some kids are left to run amok.

This is a big site next to the sea. The new Caravans are good however older ones are not best looked after.
Vans near the entrance and nearer the sea are stood on grass with a clay under soil. When wet puddles form and ground is soft.
New vans sit up on the hill ti the right of the entrance and have good views.
The entertainment facilities are not adequate for the size of the park and should really be modified. There is swimming pool however no changing rooms.
Overall an average park.

Fantastic caravan park, few minutes walk from the beach, nice site and caravans.
Everything are working fine in caravan.
Very clean, friendly, would definitely recommend.
The beach is beautiful, but no any seashell or crabs😣.
Definitely be back😊😊😊

Nice spot to visit various towns and seaside area's. Nice entertainment area with good facilities. Touring facilities need to be upgraded. Easy access to coast path and beach.
