User

Well doesn’t this all sound exciting.
We’ve got several events for this already booked in and a few more to come too.

User

Local legends Bob & Harry Dockerty are taking over!
Not only are they supplying all their beer, but I've asked Harry to select a few of his favourite tipples to add to our tap list.
Dont for get our meet the brewer event on the Sunday.

User

Our favourite local brewers, Larkins finish their take over of our pub with a meet the brewery event & a discussion about hops.
PLUS: Harry has brewed two very unique one offs only available at this event!
Larkins grow all their own hops, so what they don't know isn't worth knowing I guess.

Went there this evening for dinner with my fiancé and we had a brilliant time. Amazing food, great service, fun to watch the chefs making the food and good atmosphere....can't recommend enough!

User

Went there for the first time just over a week ago. Food was amazing, service impeccable, AND I broke my oyster cherry. Yum!! Highly recommend to any fish and champagne fans. The wine list is also full of fabulous options for even the connoisseur.

User

We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, so we had what we wanted and they didn't disappoint, we had caviar, oysters starters, main and pudding & champagne. Everything was first class, I would highly recommend, the team working on our day were superb, we eat out a lot in the west end but will definitely be returning to home turf again!! Thanks Sankey's.

We treat ourselves to dinner at The Old fish market 2 or 3 times a year and love it every time. The food and the service are both impeccable and it's a beautiful, quirky building to enjoy a special night out in. We've had pretty much everything off the menu over the years and it's all been delicious. I love having a variety of oysters to chose from and compare and the choice of a main dish or any combination of seafood we wish to try. The range of drinks is great too and the chefs and waiting staff couldn't be more accommodating. Thank you for another special meal out

User

Visited the restaurant on Valentine's Day. The food was lovely and the staff were so welcoming. I'd like to say a special thanks to our waiter who educated us on the food were were eating. Defiantly would recommend to friends and family. Defiantly would go again.

User

Took my parents out for a celebratory meal here last night, absolutely incredible! Service was impeccable and the food and drink amazing! We had the scallop starter to share and it was so good that we had to order a second portion!

User

Superb venue; drinks and architectural/style result! Having been away for a few months what a delight to see this fantastic transformation! The most amazing thing is the all round old windows doing what glass does best to light up and see in and out of! Excellent black and white tiling / grouting, great high chairs and lampshades - and of course excellent Champagne Cocktail and Mohito I and a lady friend had! Well done Matthew and the team! Look forward to summer to expand out into the square!

User

Sankey's managed to put the twinkle into my winkles on a glorious Saturday afternoon. 6 oysters and a bottle of Chapel Down Bacchus in the sunshine..if there is anywhear better than this in TW then I need to know about it.

User

Positively delicious. Fantastic food, great service. One of the best in town, irrespective of price range.

User

My partner and I had THE BEST experience at this small but perfectly formed restaurant on Saturday night. The food was absolutely superb and the service was even better. Thank you to Caleb the chef and Chris our waiter who made our night not just great but fantastic!!! Also, we LOVED sitting at the bar rather than the tables as we could see the chefs in action...made it all the more exciting. We'll definitely be back...asap!

User

Me and my boyfriend were on our anniversary weekend break at local spa and fancied venturing out for dinner. So glad I found this hidden gem of a restaurant! Absolutly amazing fresh fish, brilliant service with friendly staff. The restaurant was empty whilst we were there due to time of year, plus it being Halloween! This did not make us feel uncomfortable at all in fact we thoroughly enjoyed our own private meal and the friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be recomending and visiting again, I loved our meal so much I spoke to staff and insisted they should open another restaurant in Maidstone, this is what we are missing!

User

Fantastic seafood, great location, and staff were happy to help with recommendations. Had seafood platter with dressed crab and a couple of oysters between two, brilliant.

User

Fantastic food, friendly helpful staff, great intimate venue and great to sit and watch the food being prepared can't wait to go again.

User

Delicious food, beautiful surroundings and great service

User

Superb little restaurant with open kitchen in an intimate layout. Food is cooked right in front of you sitting on the stools. God service. Food was spot on and fresh apart from a few bits of grit / sand in the some clams in the linguine. Bread is baked on site daily and crisped up in front of you too, perfect for soaking up those lush juices and sauces from seafood dishes and crustaceans!

Would like to return in the summer and eat outside.

Rudest staff I’m ever met I only ask if they were open for breakfast

User

Treated my wife for a birthday meal on Saturday 29 October 2016. The food was of an excellent standard. The fresh oysters my wife had were stunning. We did feel we were being rushed as while we were eating the staff started to sweep the floor. I am assuming in readiness for the next day. This was at 10 pm and as we had the table until 10.30 we felt uncomfortable and rushed. On receiving the bill we mentioned our issue with the staff and, who we assumed to be the manager, dealt with it in a very professional manner. Overall the food was the highlight but it would have been nice to have the whole experience we would expect in such an establishment.

User

Pretty average portions on the small side

Service again not brilliant just nothing special on service food quality or place itself

User

Why delete my poor review? That is terrible form Sankeys. Just because you disagree with my justified complaint (I would love to know how you would have reacted in the same situation). This is not the only SM forum. I am becoming more disappointed with you - and I thought I had already hit rock bottom with you....
