Today we are saying goodbye to our beautiful Siobhan Eve Harrison who came to work for us 4 years ago. She has been a real asset to Santoros as waitress bartender and our main DIY expert .We are going to miss you loads and know our customers will feel the same too. Went here with quite a big party including two young children for lunch. We were accommodated very well and the staff were fun and friendly to the kids. The food was incredibly good value and traditional Italian rather 'high street chain' Italian and incredibly good value on the lunch menus with starts under £3 and main courses just under £6. Would definitely go back.

Thanks to all the staff for helping us to celebrate my Mum's 90th birthday with our lovely family, he were very attentive and made the "birthday girl" feel very special. She loves everything Italian and enjoyed her lunch, as we all did may I say. She even sneakily licked her plate after a divine tiramisu!!!!

Still the best restaurant in Yarm. Been my favourite for 20 years. We had a great lunch today, as expected, but this time the chips were in a tiny bucket. Don't do this you guys, your food is too good.

I have been going to Santoros for about 15 years! Every dinner a delight. It has real Italian charm. Vincenzo and Ross always make the night unique. Gianni is the perfect Italian waiter. Both Karen and I love Santoros - there is only one italian in Yarm !

Food and service in the restaurant was excellent, however the thing that put this restaurant up there with the best was their ability to cope with a situation. My 84 year old mother couldn't climb the stairs to the toilets, so they cleared a way through the busy kitchen and allowed her to use the ground floor staff toilet. The Chefs and kitchen staff were amazing and even though they were really busy cooking for a full house they took the time to talk to us on our way through to the toilet .Well done, and I would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone ;)

First visit this evening. Greeted by very friendly staff. Food was amazing and service excellent, definitely returning.

First time visited .... I know ! For lunch on Friday, we both ( hubby) had a starter and main all were delicious. Staff were friendly serbice with a smile, we would definately recommend and will be back I'm sure.�

First time visit and we weren't disappointed. Gorgeous starters - mussels, carpaccio italiano; main courses - both had chicken with crayfish tails fantastic. Lovely staff. Will definitely come back again.

Santoros has been a favourite of ours for many years, however last nite i rang and made a resevation and a request for a particular meal, i was told that wouldnt be a problem, so we set off within the hour, the restaurant was empty apart from two people sat at the bar, we ordered our drinks and given our menus, at that point we were told the request wasnt available!!! Had that been the case we would have arranged for another nite, i didnt like the manner of ricci, very loud and over bearing, nothing like his father, we couldnt hear ourselves think as he entertained his friends at the bar ! We decided to leave and were given a bill 9pounds which my husband questioned, his answer was, thats the price!!!!! He charged us for a gin and tonic not lime and soda, this may sound petty but with us as the only customers how on earth can you get a bill wrong and promise a meal thats not available!!!! Very disappointing!

A little disappointed; never before have I had steak that is a grey / white colour. I queried it to work colleagues who said it was OK so I didn't complain, but at the end of the meal other people who had the steak in our party were complaining that their steak was anemic. I kept my mouth shut because it was a works do and as such was free, but I won't be returning to this restaurant. To be fair this was two days ago and I haven't had any stomach problems so obviously it was safe to eat, and the staff were very polite and friendly despite being very busy, but the food let the place down. Perhaps it would be better if you ordered off the standard menu and not the 'dinner party' one?
