We ate here for the first time on Valentine's and ordered the £42 special Valentine's menu unfortunately the server completely messed ours and a couples next to us order up. However....the manager was wonderful, sorted it out and offered complimentary drinks and removed a large amount from our bill which was fab as the food when it arrived was amazing. The chef was brilliant and despite the several mistakes we had a fantastic night. I would highly recommend and again the food was perfect and the chef simply brilliant.

Staff lovely

Enjoyed it , great fun

Great food

Bill came - service charge nearly £16.00

Also staff " forgot " to deduct the £40 booking fee until pointed out

Maybe if we hadn't been sober we mightn't have remembered

Fun, vibrant staff who entertain whilst cooking. The food was gorgeous, very organised. The kids also loved the experience. Highly recommend for a grown up night out too. The place is gleaming, drinks reasonable too.

Amazing place, very quiet at Friday lunchtime but well worth the visit. It is quiet expensive but then you get the very best food. Our Japanese Chef was fun! and a great cook! The food is prepared in front of you so lovely and fresh. Its a great experience as well as lovely food.

User

A fabulous experience. Front of house, waiting staff, chef and food were all superlative. Well worth a visit - I shall return!

User

Food was lovely, and chef was fantastically entertaining, giving us a great experience, however, starters came out at very different times, and one didn't even make an entrance

, so one member of our group missed out.

The drinks waiters failed to deliver correct drinks, or any drinks on one occasion, which spoilt the evening a little.

All in all , the food was so good that it was all worthwhile, they just need to get other waiters trained in service at a better standard.

User

they NEVER give sufficient time its eat and do one...food always tastes ok but yesterday was most likely last time we will go...i had a really rude phone call over a 'deposit' i was not previously asked to leave..the attitude ' as i am saying for the 4th time you have not confirmed because you have not left a deposit!!!!!' well if you shut up for a minute i will get you a deposit...ended up putting phone down...only to find later in week the table times had been changed !!

Went yesterday (mother's day) I wasn't impressed at all which is a shame because I was so looking forward to it. I travelled from Rossendale and we were a family party of 10.

I was surprised that the starter I had (prawns) weren't cooked in front if us, the main course (salmon) was good but the dessert I chose ice cream was just 1 small blob of ice cream. I don't feel it was good value for money. The delay to be seated wasn't acceptable and 2 parties that came in after us were seated first. The delay between each course was far too long and some of the party were getting frustrated. I understand it was busy but that is no excuse for bad service. We also had a baby with us and no high chair was available untill we were eating desert which meant that a 6 month old baby had to sit on parents knee so their food could not be enjoyed. When glasses of coke were ordered no choice was given for size and large were brought every time leading me to believe that staff were just interested in taking more money.

The only reason I didn't complain on the day was that it would have completely ruined a family get together.

It's ok. More for the experience.

However.

The Wagu Rib eye isn't the genuine Wagu you might expect and thin. It's £40.

ASDA sell two rib eyes for £7. They taste better. They are thicker. And don't have sinue throughout. Cost. £3.50 each.

I can't believe I spent £40 for a rubbish steak.

Also. Someone else's drinks order had been added to our bill. As I was driving and my partner had a cocktail. I was sure the beer and merlot wasn't ours.

Also

I just noticed a £9.34 service charge... After the receipt is printed and you read to the bottom of the receipt it says the charge can be removed if requested. This is not mentioned at all at the time of transaction!

We won't be recommending or returning.

Time all our main was cooked and put on plate it was cold . You end up picking at items of food cooked and put on ya plate 1st . It should be all cooked at once and put on ya plate altogether and hot which they failed to do . For the money we paid it was poor in flavour and quality. Won't be returning , sorry

I have been here before a long time ago and loved it but wasnt too impressed this time.i went here last night on a deal from wowcher £39.00 .we had a soup starter small bowl which was really tasteless and had nothing but a few bits of cabbage inside.for starter we had a cold pancake filled with a few pieces of maybe pork were not sure ,really bland though and was cold..

Then for main was potaoes and rice and mixed veg which was ok along with 3/4scallops each cut into half and some chicken breast pieces .service was quite rushed .Desert prob the best cheesecake caramel probably .

We where charged £5 service charge which i wasnt aware of untill id paid.if i had known i wouldnt have booked this as i dont believe in paying a tip unless its deserved and i dont believe last night was good.bit dissapointed.geisha menu we had .
