Welcome to Sarah's Sunflowers

My name is Sarah and I am a Ofsted registered childminder. I live in Widdrington in a spacious house with a large backyard. I live with my partner Brett and our daughter's Beth and Emily.

I have a Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education and have worked in nurseries, schools and as a nanny since 2006.

Your child will be cared for in a friendly, relaxed home from home environment within a family atmosphere. They will receive individual attention as well as gaining social skills from interaction with the other children I care for.

I attend playgroups and soft plays on a regular basis, we also visit other childminders, so your child will get to interact with lots of different children.
We also go out on visits to local parks, farms, museums and other places of interest.

I have a range of toys and activities for all ages that are changed regularly to ensure that your little one never becomes bored!

I believe that every child is an individual and should develop at his /her own pace. I provide care where your child will be encouraged and stimulated at all times through a range of activities.

I provide a nutritionally balanced diet and all our meals are made fresh. I encourage children to get involved in preparing their food, it can be a little messy but it is great fun! !

All the activities that I provide take into consideration age, developmental stage and likes and dislikes. Activities include toddler groups, arts & crafts, music, outdoor play /walks, messy play, baking, and dressing up /role play.

I strive towards ensuring that you, as parents, are completely at ease leaving your children and that your children feel at home with me. With my wealth of knowledge and experience you can be assured that your child is receiving the best possible care and education, and most importantly, having fun!
