With over 300, 000 songs, 23, 000 artists and 50, 000 contracts, the proud history of Saregama stretches back to 1901, formerly known as The Gramophone Company of India Ltd. and more popularly as HMV (His Master's Voice), Saregama was established as the first overseas Indian Branch of Electrical & Musical Industries Limited (EMI), London.
Saregama has evolved into one of India's premier entertainment content companies, with 13 regional offices in India and 4 International offices in London, New York, Kuala Lumpur and Dubai.
Saregama is very proud to be associated with India's greatest singers, musicians, composers and producers; Lata Mangeshkha, Asha Bhosle, Mohammad Rafi, Kishor Kumar, Sonu Niigaam, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Ustad Bismillah Khan and R. D Burman to name a few.
