I had such a great experience here, Rob offers a bespoke service and really cares about your bike. If there is a way to keep your bike on the road he will find it! Sargent Bikes friendly and honest service is a boon.

Proper bikeshop for people with real bikes! I'm surprised by some reviews, he's very helpful to all that don't want free or impossible fixes on things able to be fixed. He's saved some very worthwhile pieces in the past and I have seen them and always have felt welcomed an well advised. For those who want a Halfords, go to bloody Halfords.

This isn't your typical Evans: Sargent & Co specialise in robust, retro bikes. Rather than search Gumtree for a battered - and potentially unsafe - old bike, I bought a beautifully restored and fully serviced Balmoral Hercules from Rob at Sargent & Co, and I absolutely love it! It's definitely best to give them a call / drop them an email before you check the store out (opening hours can be a bit sporadic).

I went to get my bike serviced but was completely ignored by the staff. If you can turn away customers in this day and age you must be doing well for yourself. Hurry up and gentrify the area so we can get a decent bike repair shop move in. Out with the old
