I just love this time of year when your walks in Winchester’s beautiful countryside become draped with the delightful golden hue of Autumn. It always reminds of my childhood ... eagerly picking the shiniest of conkers, convinced they’ll make you a fortune as you sit for endless hours outside your house desperately hoping someone will want to buy your treasure!!
