We’re gearing up for our spot at this year’s Northampton Food Festival next weekend at the County Cricket ground. We’ll be selling our homemade and award winning pork pies, sausages, pate and potted beef, and taking Christmas orders for our Golden Turkey award winning free range turkeys, delicious aged beef and any other Christmas joints.

Our pork and chicken trailers will be at Twickenham tomorrow as usual but all food trailers on site will now be cashless so are only taking card payments. Less queuing, more drinking time!!🍻

Couldn’t wait to try this delicious Northamptonshire Pickle from the fabulous Friars Farm, now available at the shop. Roasted some of our smoked gammon to go with it - perfect weekend sandwich!

Our amazing team travelled all the way to France this week with the airstream to work with Chivas Regal whisky, Pernod, Havana Club, Martel and Ramsay Events. Bit of a trek but thank you for having us at your wonderful event!

Our chef Andy has been busy making some delicious lamb, pea and mint pies this week, just £2.80 available at our Smiths Farm Shop butchery and our shop in Spratton. Enjoy!😋

This is the family run farm we have sourced our turkeys from for the last few years, where the birds are free to roam the grassy fields. It takes decades of experience and expertise to produce a turkey this good and John Howe and his family are proud to have gained their birds the Golden Turkey accreditation which assures the turkeys are the very finest quality. These really are the best turkeys we’ve ever sold (and we’ve sold a few!) and they can be found in some of the fine...st butchers shops and restaurants around London and the South East. And our prices are comparable with most of the good supermarkets so you won’t break the bank either, from £10.99/kg!
And don’t forget our delicious homemade sausages, our award winning pork pies, and a host of other goodies to make your Christmas table the most delicious spectacle it could be - you’ll need to make sure you wear your stretchy trousers!

Wonderful meats and food products. Amazing Black Pudding, Pork Pies, and home cooked ham. Friendly service. A Northamptonshire Gem - actually a national gem!

Took advantage of the DIY Hog Roast and extra sausages last weekend for a Halloween party. There are no superlatives to describe the quality of the food and the service. I was told when I ordered it that no-one would go without and that was an understatement. The pork was perfect and the crackling....well what can I say apart from that it was the best I've ever tasted. The food stayed hot for the whole of the party and was amazing value. Looking forward to doing it again.

My advice for anyone considering using Saul's of Spratton for your event would be to stop thinking and remove everyone else from your shortlist. Sauls was recommended to us for our wedding reception and we went for the pig roast; pork, sausages, stuffing, apple sauce, rolls and crackling - everything was perfect, the service was awesome and stress - free (especially given that we had left it rather late), the quality of the food was fantastic and no review can come remotely close to doing it justice. I cannot thank or praise you guys enough - everyone loved it, it was spot on and made our day even more amazing. 5 stars is nowhere near enough!

Kept my husband and I well fed all weekend at the CLA Game Fair at Harewood House. My cooked to order bacon roll was to die for. Good banter with the ladies who worked tirelessly all weekend and were never short of a smile.
