We are so proud to offer authentic Thai food: original, fresh, delicious and full of flavor. We have drawn on our heritage of old secret recipes created in 1950, when our generation created dishes for representatives from around the world.
Sawasdee Klub Thai Eatery Description
Sawasdee means welcoming, open-minded greeting people and expresses a unique feature of Thai culture. Klub is a way to unite Thai and English, meaning a group of people or party as well as a polite suffix in the Thai language.
We are so proud to offer authentic Thai food: original, fresh, delicious and full of flavor. We have drawn on our heritage of old secret recipes created in 1950, when our generation created dishes for goodwill Ambassadors, representatives from around the world acting as defence attaches at the Royal Thai Embassy. The recipe were originally created in the kitchen of Earl Nontaprecha’s house by his daughter-in-law namely Boontiem, and now you can enjoy them and all their diversity of flavour.

Today is the Songkran day (Thai New year's national day).Songkran means movement. It is the movement of the sun to another Zodiac. Thai people would normally make merit on the day, performing water pouring on Buddha statues, representing purification and the washing away of bad luck.
We also do a little ceremony of pouring water on Buddha Statues here as well.
