We're a local dance school based in Ifield Crawley, opening on September 2nd 2017. We will be hosting an open day on the 2nd to welcome prospective students and parents to the school.

SC Academy of Dance is devoted to offering fun and technical classes to students aged between 3-18. Our two principals are very excited to begin this journey with our students and cannot wait for the future.

Both Sophie and Chris are highly experienced teachers and performers, always striving to create a welcoming and entertaining training environment for seasoned dancers or complete beginners.

The lessons that will be available to students as of September 2017 are as follows-

Mini Ballet and Mini Street-
These classes are designed for children under the age of 6 to begin their dance journey and develop their core foundations. These classes can either be attended separately or you can choose to attend both at a discounted rate.

Junior Company Class-
This class is designed for students between the ages of 7-12. The class will focus on commercial and lyrical techniques. Commercial is a HipHop / Street style of dance made popular by such movies as Step Up. Lyrical is a very emotional technique of dance allowing the students to tell a story and use emotion whilst dancing.

Senior Company Class-
This class is for anyone over the age of 13. It will also focus mainly on Commercial and Lyrical techniques, as befitting their age and ability Two styles of dance that have become extremely popular in recent years.

Sophie and Chris are thrilled to be able to open a dance school in their home town after many years of professional training. We cannot wait for our open day on September 2nd and finally show what we have to offer to the community and to further the education of dance to the younger generation.
