Pretty good as these things go. You don't find penguins at every aquarium which was a welcome addition.
A couple of extra tasks for the kids to do as they went round which was a nice bonus and a little outdoor playground to break up the visit.

Brilliant experience... Such a well run scheme. Having a mobility problem often hinders me from going to all areas but staff here are so helpful that allow you through tunnels to get through where fully mobile customers use stairs. Highly recommended

Visited November 2017..The car park was free because it was out of season..situated in a stunning spot right on sea front on North parade, with excellent views..Best to buy tickets on line as pay at the door is expensive..Very good place for children to learn about what is in our seas, as there are talks and tutorials at different times..Staff are excellent. All in all a very good visit and would go again....

We had a wonderful day out here at Scarborough Sea Life Centre. Andy at reception was excellent and each of the information presentations were very enjoyable. We saw all but the one about Turtles. The Cafe was just what was needed by a couple of small people in tow who both really enjoyed the whole day. Couldn't recommended it highly enough.

Pretty good. The staff were really knowledgeable and friendly. Some really great species on display. But the place is quite dated and small, particularly when you compare it with other similarly priced aquariums.

It's a great day out and you can spend most of the day here. There's activities for the kids to do other than seeing the animals, such as holding star fish and collecting stamps from all the exhibits. There's a good crazy golf course after that is included with the price too. The restaurant isn't amazing but it will fill you up while you're there.

We had a really enjoyable few hours here, there is lots to see and it was quiet enough to view everything. Our toddler had the opportunity to walk through the penguin enclosure and stroke a starfish, both of which fascinated her. It's a bonus to have the outside area and the crazy golf. There was a lot more to see and do than we expected and would visit again.

A fabulous day out for the old and young alike. Very much worth the ticket prices in my opinion. The work they do in their seal hospital is phenomenal and to be able to see how the animals are thriving is superb. The super friendly penguins are a favourite of ours.

The staff are so friendly and the centre does such great work. The animals are clearly well cared for and many are being assisted in their recovery after being rescued. The beach clean up they organised was great and I hope they keep this up throughout the winter. A special discount card for locals that applies only in the off peak seasons/times would be great 😉

Great Sealife centre,so much to see. Live shows and talks. Well worth a visit but try and get a voucher because it's not cheap

Very busy (but it was half term!) Lots of things to see, and although food was a bit expensive it was good quality and bottomless drinks on the meal deal. The £4 book was a good choice at the entry, since it gave a £3 off £15 voucher for the shop,a buy one get one free hot drink voucher and a 20%off adoption voucher- which we used to adopt a penguin for my nephew, and the adoption comes with discounts throughout, a free stuffed toy and all sorts of extras including an annual pass.
All in all, an excellent 2 or 3 hours of entertainment, more if you watch the various talks and demonstrations (which were pitched a little too high for 3 year old, but still interesting!) The customer services manager was great too- while all the staff were friendly she really stood out.

Had an amazing time lovely staff lots to see and do learnt a lot about sea life will defiantly go again and recommend it to family and friends.

Had a lovely couple of hours here. Good range of sealife which clearly were well cared for. Interesting talks from knowledgeable staff. The outside of the building looks old and tired, but they are clearly investing in developing exhibitions and conservation projects.
