Thanks to Octopus Energy we have today been putting some birch and beech trees in planters that come November will be transferred to a nearby wood and we've planted some within our own grounds too. All part of our ever growing green initiatives here at the UTC!

This afternoon we have hosted an intergenerational tea party, in association with Age UK. Students served hot drinks and cakes and spent the afternoon chatting with members of the local community and talking about life here at UTC. Our students were fantastic ambassadors and made our guests feel incredibly welcome. It was wonderful to host such a lovely event here in College!

SUTC have been highlighted as a striking example of how education and industry can work together to improve the local economy 💪🏼.
