St Anne's Hoxton has been the centre of the Hoxton community since it was founded in 1870. It runs a Relief in Need charity to provide a soup kitchen, night shelter, youth club and food gifts for local people in desperate need.

Dear clients, collaborators, colleagues and friends,
The Yoga for Charity initiative we started in July is up and running.
So far, we have run 10 sessions and collected £250 for St Anne's Hoxton Relief in Need. The plan is to continue to practice and raise donations, you are all most welcome to join.
... We are writing again to inform everyone about the following key changes:
1. From Tuesday, September 18th, sessions will take place every Tuesday at 18:30
2. A fixed rate of £5 will apply, as before 100% of the income goes directly to Charity (Higher donations always welcome…).
3. There will not be a session this week (Thursday 13th)
4. We have a smaller dedicated mailing list, with weekly updates/reminders, if you are not receiving our weekly emails and would like to join please let us know.

Scenario Architecture is looking for an Architectural Technologist/Technical Architect to join our team and engage with all technical aspects of our projects. Our studio delivers high end, design-led residential work for both end users and private... developers. We are looking for an experienced, proactive and motivated individual, to join our close-knit and ambitious team.
The successful candidate will have:  A minimum of 2 years UK experience.  5 years minimum of BIM experience, ideally ArchiCAD.  Proven experience in delivery of projects through RIBA stages 4-7, including production and coordination of all projects drawings & information.  Extensive experience in delivering tender and construction packages.  Substantial, hands on experience with site inspections and contract administration.  Excellent and current knowledge of UK Building regulations.  Experience and understanding of BIM concepts, workflows and collaboration. Primary duties will include:  Production of tender and construction packages - Drawings, Schedules and specifications.  Managing tender processes; Documenting, issuing, analyzing and reporting of projects to clients.  Coordinating work by external consultants & internally with the rest of the team.  Site inspections – Liaison with contractors and subcontractors, site procedures & documentation, and doing so autonomously and responsibly.

 Administrate Contracts (On end users project) - Dealing with RFI’s, issuing instructions, valuations and certificates. Required skills:  Practical experience and a broad understanding of BIM concepts.  Proven ability to creatively solve complex construction details both within the office and on site during visits.  Excellent organizational, time and communication skills.  Ability to handle many complex problems from several projects on the go and work with the Scenario team to resolve any matters in a timely fashion.

Scenario are very pleased to have obtained a challenging planning permission for a highly unusual extension with Haringey Council.
During the pre-planning process, the officers were initially extremely negative about approving the scheme.
Nevertheless, we were able to gain permission with minimal alterations to the design. This was achieved via extensive communication and negotiation with the case officer.
... Scenario produced a comprehensive document which referenced all relevant precedents in the surrounding area and made the strongest possible case for the proposal.
This was enough to persuade the council of the merit and suitability of the alterations to the building resulting in the granting of permission without conditions.
