School of Economics and Law (formerly known as London College of Business Management and Information Technology) is the independent educational body of Stockwell Green Community Services (SGCS), a registered charity. Our mission is to alleviate poverty through making people employable.

We are therefore committed to widening participation and supporting students from all backgrounds but in particular those that are disadvantaged, nationally and internationally.

We have three main faculties, Business, Health
Care, and Law, offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses leading to degrees at UK universities. Our campus has moved from North Cheam and is now located in Camberwell, London.

SOEL's courses are practice-based, vocational and professional in nature, and are designed to enhance students’ employability and social responsibility. We are continuously improving and our quality assurance procedures provide confidence to our students and other stakeholders.

We have a world class faculty, a range of scholarships, and provide an unrivalled quality learning experience. We take pride in our teaching staff who include lecturers from London School of Economics (LSE), Goldsmiths, Harvard, University of Washington, and beyond. Our support staff are highly trained to deal with your queries and meet your needs.

Our Advisory Board has a wealth of experience, and meets regularly to ensure that we are meeting our academic standards. The college is judged to be making acceptable progress by QAA (Quality Assurance Agency), and has been awarded Highly Trusted Sponsor status by the United Kingdom Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

We are a Higher Education institute based in London, and have close relationships with industry including FTSE 100 companies and some renowned law firms and chambers including 12 Old Square, 5 Pump Court, 1 Gray’s Inn Square, Law Lane Solicitors, and others.

Students can develop their skills through our Talent Management and Student Ambassadors Schemes. Our Alumni Scheme continues to graduates and they can benefit from free library access and invitation to events such as the Executive Lecture Series.
