Scienta (and manufacturers TGC) agree contract deal with Camel Printing Supplies (HK) for 2 Cold Foil units incorporating Scienta's D4 Indexer in China.
In October, Scienta has made further improvements on its D4 Foil Saving device. With better performance, an amazing 40% foil saving was achieved on a 6000 sheet run at 7.6k sph. The actual waste between the foiled images was only a staggering 5 mm!!! Foil width was 960 mm and the foil print length was 560 mm.
Foil Saving software installation in China Following the successful development work in Europe, Scienta installed its Foil Saving software on a Cold Foil Unit in China. After a few days of alterations and upgrades, sheet tests were used to obtain production speeds close to 7k sph. Contact Scienta for more details.
