Always have loved going to the cinema.
Although Scott's Cinema(s) are a chain they're not a huge corporate conglomerate making your visit a personal experience, still.
I think the Silver Screen on Wednesday morning a really good idea. Not only is it affordable it allows you catch up with a film you didn't see the first time around.
And a plus point for being in the town AND for having courteous staff.

It was good. Good selection of films, food and drink. Only thing that let it down was no wheelchair access upstairs. So be aware if you can't get upstairs you only have a choice to watch what is on downstairs.

I have found that they regularly have films on at this cinema. Some are good, some are not, but it seems unfair to blame the cinema for this.

Always a great selection of films showing for all age groups. Friendly staff, good prices. Some screens are a bit on the small side but all in all a great cinema

It's ok, it's the only cinema so we kind of have to put up with it. Find staff are generally polite and courteous and when needed very helpful. Seating and screens are average at best. Sound levels during films however are all over the place! Often way too loud for what's required. And this then causes sound leaks if your in a different screen, big explosions in the background from screen 1 when your watching a love scene on screen 4 is a bit naff. Lastly they don't make popcorn on site, instead buy in big commercial pre made bag and warm it up a bit to make it seem fresh. Plus they only do sweet flavoured, no salt, no toffee... it's the cinema people!!!

This pleasant cinema sits unobtrusively close to the High Street and offers a broad selection of films. We saw 'A Dog's Purpose' which was screened in a small 60 seat studio that offered an excellent viewing experience. Toilets are very modern and clean.
Only negative was the washy insipid coffee.
Good value!
